Setting out at 3ish on Wednesday afternoon for a bite to eat and then an early night as we'd left home at 2am... Got in at 3am, freezing cold, still no food and absolutely trashed. Thursday was a Very quiet day!

Last year, friend turns to me as we're standing up near the Glastonbury sign -"Whats that pointed thing down there with the light on top" - wouldn't mind, but she's been to Glastonbury over 20 times!

I'm not gonna lie, I had a little cry this morning. It should have been my 21st Glastonbury - missed 3 now since 1994. I keep hoping that immersing myself will help - not sure - but we're going camping at the weekend with some festi-friends so that should help. Big hugs to all of you hurting x

Definitely aim for West side, Pink or Orange, so for you that's heading down the M5 to the A39 turnoff, heading through Glastonbury town. Safe travels and enjoy the festival!

Pack all your stuff and leave in the Gate A lockup. Go for an allnighter - pick your stuff up at 5am and jump on the coach home!! Shangri-La etc is good on a Sunday night, less busy and doesn't finish til 4am...

I love watching their face turn from excitement to horror.... " Oooo did you see Coldplay??" - No, I saw a random band who you've never heard of, I promise you, and I thoroughly enjoyed it thanks... "why didn't you see Coldplay" - Because its music for people who buy their music in Asda.... "HORROR!!!!" Or alternatively, if its your gran, just lie and say you were there...

ITs not just the space thing or the environment - although both are important. The entitled behaviour of some camps with gazebo's was horrific, actively calling out people who walked through "their space". This has happened to me on more than one occasion and quite frankly is not in the spirit of the festival.

Sitting miserably at my desk wondering what I'd be doing normally at this time Which would be lugging half a ton of crap across a hot dusty field... I'd take that over the desk tbh.

Paines will be full by that time on Wednesday. As will Park Home, Oxlyers, Pennards. Your best bet will be South Park/Baileys, Darble, Dairy - but the stewards by the massive map at the gate will be able to give up to date advice.
