Have a look at Noisily. I've not been myself but my friends love it. Dancey but chilled!
-
Last full weekend of June, so 26th to 30th
-
They deserve better than that!
-
Its not much easier volunteering! Oxfam places went in minutes this year for non-priority places. Persistence and luck applies too!
-
I always take foot moisturiser to a festival, after hours on your feet a good moisturise always makes them feel better!
-
Very sad indeed, watching Pulp 3 times at Glastonbury and also during his DJ slots in Stonebridge, RIP Steve, and much love to Pulp and Steve's family and friends.
-
Thanks for the reassurance, its probably been about 10 years since I've seen them, but like you, used to go a lot in the 90s! Looking forward to hearing some his newer stuff live, but agree, wouldn't it be good if he did a "Greatest Hits" set!!
-
Quite happy with that - love Spiritualized and haven't seen them for a while. Love Goat, and plenty lower down to be happy with - and as usual a dig through the unknowns will surface something interesting!
-
They are the sort of band that are brilliant at a festival, but not sure I'd go to their own gigs. And I like Orbital a lot and have seen them many times over the years!!
-
Marc Riley just read a list of festival dates for Warmduscher, which included Green Man

Reading stuff like this makes me happy that I didn't go for tickets this year, 1st time in 20 times.... So, hope you enjoy my (and my group of 6) tickets , I'd like to hope they went to you - or someone as passionate to be there. Have the bestest time!
-
@adcarr_ if you do this, and get your friend to pay the balance for all of you (and you pay them back!), you won't incur 2 delivery charges.
-
Come join Glasto Gals on Facebook, lots of solo women on there!
-
Lineup will be out on 1st March (St David's Day) - feels like a long way away!!!!

Festivalling > Eating > Sleeping > Washing > Showering

No coincidence That Loyle Carner, Arlo Parks and Christine and The Queens have all been artists in residence in recent months. Tbh the 6 music festival doesn't do anything for me. I guess if it was on my doorstep then I might consider it, but not worth going out of the way for.

Assuming you're camping on site, 3 sets of showers - Kidz field, Greenpeace and Lost Horizons Sauna, never used them myself but have seen the queues in the morning... Personally, a bowl, hot water, soap and flannel does the job nicely in the tent.

I feel old. I have no idea who these people are, except Wet Leg who I spent most of last year trying to avoid.
-
A friend used to volunteer for Festaff a few years ago and worked the wristbanding. I see they are advertising again, what sort of roles do they do these days? Tbh i prefer the sound of supporting a charity but sometimes needs must...
-
And the Glastonbury legend Arthur Brown who, I think, will be 81 during this next festival!

Do Wateraid provide decent PPE for cleaning the bogs?

Head to the west car parks so come in via Glastonbury, bearing in mind you can't drive through Pilton. After that, follow signs/stewards. Be prepared for a long walk! Or come by bus.

Its also worth chucking in the pot that A) glasto sets are usually 30 to 60 mins, so if you want a new album plus extras then go see them in their own show. Glasto sets tend to be greatest hits sets B) you might find your band is in a clash /other side of the site /you're distracted elsewhere so if seeing them this year is non-negotiable then book own gig For me, for smaller bands a glasto appearance is a bonus, especially if they are likely to be turning up everywhere this year.

Ffs, Martin Duffy, Felt, Primal Scream, The Charlatans. Rip young man.

Very sad news, hugely meaningful songwriter both then and now. Glastonbury 2009 was a fantastic gig. Rip Mr Hall.
