  1. That was pretty excellent. Same time next year. Favourite quote heard in a destinctly Mancunian accent from a compost loo beside the main stage on sunday afternoon "has anyone seen a turkey baster?"

    Pilton Party

May be me and your granny on bongos.
  3. Yes, we were there and Dee saw you but you were busy. We stayed for that and then Mush. I thought newdad were good, even if the vocals were a bit down in the mix.
  4. It was probably him being a dick. He was supposed to play Shindig a couple of weeks ago and didn't show up on the night, played the next night instead and was absolute shit. Barely phoned it in. I won't bother with him again.
  5. Mike is not Neil, I know who he is through what he has said in the past and he does have music industry credentials. Although I can't verify what he says he is a lot more likely to know than I am.
  6. Always happy to help. See you next year.
  7. Not sure of the relevance to village tickets but valid input somewhere.
  8. Maybe not. They have a pile of them, not registered to any name and not scanned or tracked. May be a mistake based on poor information.
  9. Billy Bragg, cafe in Avalon (was Avalon Cafe, now Frying Machine cafe) around 1800 to 1900 ish. sound engineer info (we know him) and no exact time.
  10. See you there. I will wear a green melt banana t shirt with a cat on. Keep an eye out for the insanely good looking bloke. Or answer b
  11. Meeting point at 1100? We can sort at the meet at 1800 if you want.
  12. I can bring some gorilla glue down tomorrow. Currently in Maceo's so would have to wait until then. Any good?
  13. I would suggest that you try the weather thread for doom and gloom. There will be weather. It will be OK.
  14. he was always going to (we don't just chuck it together.... OK maybe we do)
  15. I think we prefer blind faith and Arlo's pictures over science things.
  16. Perhaps you could start by calling taxi firms to see if they want to take such a long trip. Taxis outside of the Festival week around here are patchy at best, don't turn up at worst. There is a rank but they will be short trips, fast turn around, maximum profit. You may find that on that particular day, no one is interested. If you are lucky and find someone, arrange a pickup location with them as they will know where they can and can't stop.
  17. we run on the farm all year round and even when it is feckin it down in January, the tracks stay hard as Chuck Norris. There is so much hardcore put down, a process that was continuing throughout May and June, that the tracks are solid. Off track Quark is right that top slop happens but it would take a serious amount of wet to change anything. And that won't happen. Mudbath is overused so ignore the doom mongers and come to the light side. There will be weather, you will deal with it whatever weather that is.
  18. Just spoke to No Bones Jones as he was driving to site. He will be by Yeoman's bridge.
  19. Agree. Just picked up a pair of Meindl goretex waterproof boots for 50 quid. Grade 1 so lightly used but soft as slippers. Some nice German did the breaking in for me. Alternatively, the boss picked up a pair of waterproof Magnums for 70 quid new. Part fabric so light as. No real breaking in required.
  20. Denela's bakery from Shepton Mallet is up there and they may do birthday cakes. Maybe call them?
  21. Welcome. There will be weather and may be giraffes but it will all be ok.
  22. Not sure how you got the video of our bunker. That makes me look fat.....
