As an experiment I told Chatgpt who was headlining and for it to suggest some other bands to play. Sure! Here are some ideas for an undercard for a festival headlined by Arctic Monkeys, Guns n' Roses, and Elton John: The Strokes Fleetwood Mac The Black Keys The 1975 Lana Del Rey Vampire Weekend The Kooks Tame Impala The xx The Cure If we take out the ones that are definitely wrong Fleetwood Mac and The Cure and those not touring/releasing this year Vampire Weekend and The XX then we'll see how many the robot gets out of the remaining 6 I don't think the rest are far off although the Strokes always seem unlikely!

This will be the only year since I started going in 2015 where I've not seen any of the headliners before so kind of excited for that but at the same time would love a Park headliner ideally on GNR day so I can see some then get up there!

Does anyone know if the Scotch Egg stand by the Pyramid market area to the left when you face the stage was there this year, I couldn't find it and it was a delight in 2019? Anyone know what it may have been called evem if it wasn't there, so amazing I would look for it elsewhere!

It definitely comes down to luck, in 5 main sales I've got the booking form 3 times but managed to book tickets 2 of those times and did not manage to get mine through yesterday but then my Dad who has never seen a booking page before yesterday popped up and secured tickets for our 6. I think its just about numbers really as suggested in other posts increasing the odds of being lucky.

100% on our group of 29, was the worst one of my 6 tries for sure in terms of drama but 2nd one in a row we all made it, 6th in a row for me.

I'd agree surprisingly high, what that does mean I think is that organised people like us have a good chance!

I do like the investigation though on here, and also other than stupidly small sets for one performance acts like Paolo which are basically not ever going to be attendable (even Nick Mulvey was not on Thursday) if you plan to go if you hear its someone you want to see and are organised and aware that it will throw your plans off you can get a good spot generally for the bigger acts or at least I did for Jack White, Vampire Weekend and The Killers over the last 3 festivals. All of which were brilliant!

Anyone whose been before know what type of toilets they have in the arena at Truck? We are not camping so be good to know what the wife will need to contend with, used to Reading where the arena ones are flushablea and Glasto where they are basically all compost!

I walked to Strummerville after Jack White.. pretty sure it was faster than queueing!

I'm going to sound like a right old git.. but having not been in a tent for ages I'm fed up with people who insist on smoking in them despite the signs.. I get it you are at a festival but it makes my hayfever worse and people seem to have forgotten if you let it go sideways it goes straight into the next person's face!

What happens if you lose the passout (or worse the ticket).. always wondered in fear!

We had quite the adventure yesterday.. rather stressful for the poor driver... A hire van was in petrol station parked up... sort of.. driver out in petrol station We approached this vehicle that we thought was reversing in the road... Turns out vehicle was not reversing.. but was freewheeling out the petrol station into the road towards where we were about to be! And then we got lost no thanks to the people on yellow gate not wanting to let us in! Had to do a difficult U turn then a very wide turn into the festival! Made it safely though!

My Reading coach was on time arriving, still trundling along through Bristol though!
