Has anyone got access to a copy of the Daily Express saw on the BBC their front page has a headline "Why Macca's going back to his greatest hits", can anyone find that (I can't!) /have a copy nearby to see if its about Glastonbury? What type of stage setup does Jack White have that means they need a 45 minute gap rather than the usual 30 for other secret sets? That is the one thing that is a little odd really!

I have never seen any act more miserable personality wise than Toploader (co-headlining?) with the Hoosiers in Basingstoke! Musically they were okay but the guy definitely didn't want to be there!

If I were doing it I would have a fairly simple solution of a few offline mini servers per gate which will be a few tb of storage raided with everyones photo stored on each covering each gate area containing all the photos matched to QR code that had been distributed.. scan QR which has photo with it.. photo is then displayed to person scanning, if this does not match picture or person... no entry... I reckon that could could be done if they had digital/printable tickets with a QR obviously with an upfront cost but fairly usable for a number of years with plenty of redundancy. If the solution requires 4g or wifi it suddenly becomes more complex some, hard wired is better!

Is there anyone else who is committing to either of the big TBCs regardless of who it is? It feel a bit bananas but other than Cassetteboy who I've missed enough times there is no one I want to see in the John Peel slot so may just gamble on that one and I'm open to being surprised. The Park band however I think is going to be the big one of the two (and has better clashes for me), they've got 45 minutes prep time for starters, so despite there being more clashes it seems like a good bet, Elbow and Foals had the usual 30 minutes in 17/19. Could that mean a band with lots of instruments/a big stage setup?

Yeah you would hope so... if they just give a refund (which they have to now as a minimum) that is basically awful.. all anyone with tickets wants to do is go to their event. I'd love to be able to vote with my feet and boycott See going forward but with Glastonbury that is rather hard... I feel like Glastonbury are poor not sorting this out with fast answers... even Fyre Festival didn't cock this bit up!

Yeah the LinkedIn idea worked for me on something else think it was Virgin Media where the whole area was out in late December 2020 and nobody was responding and the whole area was sad enough re Covid Christmas never mind not being able to video call.. it worked!

And agree also continue the same tone via all SeeTickets routes. If it was me I literally would not leave them alone in fact! Would be chasing hourly for updates given the cost of these tickets!

Indeed, I've thought of something else I would message every SeeTickets employee on LinkedIn (particularly senior ones) with the evidence and say regardless of what Royal Mail say your contract is with them, it is their responsibility to complete their contractual obligations, their mail provider is a 3rd party and their problem.

I don't understand why they don't just have cancellable barcodes that get scanned on entrance so when they do get lost in the post they issue new ones, I had this for an event a few years back and exactly this happened. Surely Glastonbury have tech good enough for this now! Unfortunately no ideas, other than if they paid for any portion of the ticket on credit card I would enact the section 75 protection now as this might get Glastonbury or See working on it if its going to cost them money.

I expect the John Peel to be rammed against Herbie Hancock and others at that time and agree on Sports Team to get a big audience beforehand, will be interesting to see who it eventually is!

Have come across him in Bristol a few times, last was at Dot to Dot last year where me and Big Jeff were queuing for the Thekla and everyone including me wanted him to get in to see the band we were all missing over us!

Anyone noticed all Wednesday events bar the Cinemas have now disappeared from the listings on the https://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/line-up/line-up-2022/?stage so basically Wednesday is now a big non lineup event!
