Robert Plant and Saving Grace at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall last night. Unreal performance, I love that he just goes out there doing what he loves instead of cashing in Zep reunions. Still got the vocal chops and the band were incredible.

This is always a dead period. Little is announced between the initial poster and balance deadline day. We may get an area announcement like last year, but that was a bit of an outlier. Chances are there will be nothing until April 8th at the earliest.

If you pay your balance in the next few weeks, you then have up until 3rd May to get a refund. Most areas still won't be out at that stage, but you there's a chance more will be known by then.

I think you may be getting Keith and Karl mixed up. Perhaps for comic effect, perhaps not.

He was on Radio 2 on Friday and from that it sounded like he wasn't but would be next year.

They do cut some of the sets down, and remove some too. Lana plus at least one other wasn't available (someone who got a load of grief when it went out live? Can't remember who it was) and I know The Chicks set had a few songs missing.

Avalon Inn has already confirmed they will be back. I read from Dee's post that she just meant the Avalon Cafe.

I've only see Inspiral Carpets once and that was when they headlined Reading Festival. I remember I wasn't really bothered about them beforehand but very much enjoyed their set. On checking the poster, Pixies (mentioned a few posts earlier) also headlined that year but I have zero recollection of their set. To be honest, I don't remember many sets from this year. Probably because a) it was a very long time ago and b) we spent a lot of time in the pubs round town. I was mainly there for Jane's Addiction and they pulled out last minute.

I remember loads of people talking like it could happen beforehand, maybe it just felt like it did after that.

We got 3 before resale last year; West Holts, Avalon & Silver Hayes. West Holts was pretty early and may have been to either a) show more diversity after negative reaction to the initial line-up, b) an opportunity to move focus away from changing the main line-up poster following LDR's complaints or c) cos they wanted to. West Holts also seems the most likely following the line-up leak. So I think it will be them next on 9th April.
