He and a few other's like Jeremiah Ferrari's inclusion in this list is a bit of a surprise - not really new talent - some of those acts have been around a while now.

Yeah, I'm surprised Hey Sholay (who are great) felt the need to enter too as they've already released two albums via Fierce Panda. Its good exposure I suppose.

Odd, though I think the rule was just that you can't be signed to a label? So if they are self released or something I suppose it still counts?

Will take a random look through later!

I hope they can start broadcasting the finals live again this year!
