Is it me getting old, or do they look *really* young?

I loved Effy's character in the last series, hopefully they develop that without making it all one-dimensional 'she can use sex to make boys do anything she wants.'

Having watched the first episode, i realise that all of the characters from the first two series were actually, in some way likeable, although they all had their flaws. Solely from this first episode, it seems like some of the new characters are actually twats

I thought it was terrible. It's turned into a slapstick comedy. The first scene with the guy on the bike crashing into the bin lorry was cringeworthy and the fart jokes etc were woeful. First series was superb, 2nd got a bit too serious and dark, this one seems like no thought has gone into it all.

Saying that, I will prob still be watching it every week!

I pretty much hated it. It's lost all the charm it had in the first series and the characters just don't gel at all like the previous group did, they're not even likeable. And fart gags....please.....

I'll give it another go next week but seriously unimpressed so far!

Wasn't that impressed with it, the tony replacement doesn't look like he can deliver lines AT ALL, it got better as it went along but the first half was pretty damn cringe worthy other than harry enfield, hopefully with the mum having an affair we'll get to see him on screen more.

I'll keep on watching, but only because the coming up montage looked like it'll be a fast paced series. Was really pathetic though to keep on mentioning the former characters.

Caught last night episode - rather enjoyed it, I thought this show was all fluff and eye candy, but it actually had some weight, I was ready to not bother series recording it anymore but now I might watch it again next week. at least it's got a bit of darkness about it now - although surely if you'd done the whole bag, having never taken any drugs before you wouldn't be able to move?

    • Audrey Hobert getting a lot of traction lately and new single on Friday. Wonder if she could be round next summer.
    • Think Pulp are optimistic, not in terms of size but just that they've been on the road (albeit not intensively) for 3 years in a row and it feels like EotR is the deliberate end of the cycle.   Would be fairly surprised if they're active next year.
    • 👍 plus they brought their own screens 📺 either side of the stage.
    • Production was the only thing that could even explain why she would back out. Like they had sorted out the financials and she was fine with it and then a production meeting happened. It all fell apart. It was very clear that she was not going to compromise her show one bit and then that show in Brazil pretty much confirmed it. There was like one element they couldnt pull off outdoors, but it was negligible since the rest was a carbon copy of the tour she had been on. Glasto is not willing to make any bold changes on the Pyramid stage so then theyre kinda stuck in terms of what some acts want/demand. I think the easiest solution to that is putting her on Friday. You deal with the changes for one night and then re configure for the rest of the weekend. In 24 they were fortunate to have had Dua and Coldplay on Fri and Sat so they could both use the b stage. But I think it was removed for Sunday?     I saw a random rag article earlier that said Olivia Dean turned down Glasto BECAUSE her ex ( not even confirmed dating ) Harry Styles was playing the fest. hahahaha
    • No argument that he’s bigger than ever, I just have no enthusiasm for it.
