Levellers: Sold Out - live at Cropredy, well they were last weekend anyway when it should have been broadcast live but it was recorded instead cos of the weather screwing up the OB stuff.

Clicky Here and choose your player to listen to the rest of the set :)

Edit: Well, that sounded like a seriously bl**dy good gig despite a few techy probs :) but sadly it's all over now so don't expect to hear the Levs if you clicky on the above cos you've missed it !

Marillion - Neverland ... to be followed by Fantastic Place, Estonia, The Great Escape and a few more. Exxxxxcellent stuff B) I'd kinda forgotten just how good they are until I saw them play again recently.

Roll on November when they're playing a gig literally just down the road from me as well. After so many years of next to nothing that interesting locally, another decent band that I *really* have to see this Autumn :D Mr.Barclaycard is so NOT going to impressed at the total annihilation of the coming year's gig/festi budget over the next few months :P

    • New Overmono album is... just good for me. Had high hopes which were later dashed a bit after listening to some of the singles but they brought me back around enough to appreciate some very nice work in there. https://music.apple.com/ie/album/pure-devotion/1894298100
    • I don't really worry about headliners (unless there's a real possibility of a once-in-a-lifetime artist landing for it) but I'm starting to feel a bit cold on the names floating around bar Fontaines.  Harry Styles and Sam Fender, I can see the value and commercially speaking, they've earned it.  Sabrina Carpenter is obviously popular enough to do it - but after she's headlined everywhere else and done Coachella earlier this year, is it not just a bit predictable to follow what other festivals have done?
    • Bollocks to “safe” headliners, bollocks to the masses. Get interesting, get risky, challenge people.
    • The Cure would be a dream, I can definitely see them doing a second run of festivals they may have missed this year and they seem the definitive Latitude act  If they do festivals next year maybe The Strokes could be a shout? Im stunned either them or Kings of Leon haven't played yet This is a great shout for names, youre right that CMAT is taking a year out though - we're like to know more in the autumn when festivals start making announcements  The only other act I'd really love to see is Idles headline the tent
    • Very sad for Greazy Alice
