<_<

It's not my fault if blokes feel the need to wear themselves out with me -_-

With a smile like that, I'm fairly sure it's because they think they wouldn't stand a chance with you :D

Agreed with that. Thats more irritating when you go out feeling really good and all the guys are too scared to approach you because they "think they'll get knocked back". Thats why Im never rude to guys that have the courage haha

Just to say thanks for making this thread interesting again - it's all here now, flirting and things about not getting nuts wet at the weekend ha!! <_<

Went to an awards do last night for all the newspapers in our group (won Trainee Reporter of the Year by the way :P ahem). I was kinda hoping to go all dolled up and be in with a chance of meeting Mr Right (I don't get out much) but was working on a fire story til 6pm which meant no time to dash home and beautify myself -_- But you can guarantee if I had I probably wouldn't have won. Suppose the award'll have to make do as a substitute for a fella now (no it's not rude-shaped or owt :D )

haha cheers for the hints, sadly not a student anymore so that rules out most of the midweek sesh's however agree they are the best nights to go out as weekends seem to be full of tossers!

Not been to Shanghai yet, tried to go one Friday but bouncer caught be ditiching my can of Strongbow in the gutter after getting out the taxi and wouldnt let me in. Think I might have discovered my problem - maybe stop drinking cider -_-

I will admit to being a bit orange due to overuse of sunbeds and fake tan.

However you will find me at

Stereo - tuesday

Cav - wednesday and sunday

Shanghai - saturday

no excuses now!

Is there much to do there?

I went once when I was with school and hated it (Stayed at a youth hostel, the burgers will still frozen on the inside). One of my close friends is moving up there for work so will be visiting at somepoint. Looking for the kind of clubs that most people won't go to.... Goth/rock nights, Psy-trance/raves/, squat parties, that kind of thing.

On the subject of Goth/Rock clubs, is it just round here or everywhere that they seem to only run on certain days, and those certain days are usually midweek <_<

Honestly out of the ones I know of down here one runs on Mondays another Tuesdays another Thursdays (but once a month) and the only one I can actually go to is on the first friday of every month. Where's the weekly weekend clubs?!

    • Fontaines getting the honour of the last ever BBC Maida Vale session going out on 6 Music shortly.   No Glastonbury relevance (for now.. ), just thought I'd mention it for those who are interested 😎
    • Had a wonderful booking in one of our primary woodland venues this weekend. A 30th birthday arranged by a load of musicians and entertainment industry professionals. It was primarily a folk oriented event, however I noticed one young woman who didn’t seem to fit dress and appearance wise. Turned out to be Frenetic, one of the top up and coming UK Jungle and DnB DJ’s.    Anyway Saturday night turned into an EDM session and I got to do a set. Slightly nervous considering who was there, it was great and Frenetic loved my set. She’s closing Data Mine at Shambala this year.
    • they got lucky and the thunderstorms stayed away. It was still wet of course. Some of those boot sucking puddles did emerge from what a couple friends saw who were there.  Post fest aerial also below   and also a sapphic mud wrestling contest?
    • It's even less funny when in real life too...   Liddle met Rachel Royce and the couple soon became romantically involved.[84] In January 2004 the couple married at a ceremony in Malaysia. They had been living in Heytesbury, Wiltshire, and had two sons together. Six months later, Liddle moved in with Alicia Monckton, a 22-year-old receptionist at The Spectator. It transpired that he had cut short his honeymoon with Royce so that he could be with Monckton. Following their divorce, Liddle and Royce exchanged attacks in the media. Liddle called her a "total slut and slattern"
