Some of that was exaggerated, but you get the general idea. Anyway, tonight I was walking through the same nightclub when I heard a girl shout "that's my stalker.... ahhhh!". She was still cute, so I went up to her and apologised for being a dick last time... she seemed to accept this. Still, my giant ego felt there was something more to this girl. So I stalked her a bit, apologised a bit more for stalking her (classic stalking), then eventually pulled her. It was strange... she seemed to enjoy it (i'm really good at kissing). Then she wandered off, and I tried to find her again, but when I did her male friends became all defensive and got in between me and her.

She didn't poison me, she secretly loves me. But I have lost her forever now, I fear... i'll have to find someone new to stalk.

Oh by the way rfs, what festivals are you going to this year?

Yes indeed. You'll have to sneak it into festivals, security staff might think it's some weird way of getting high. That's what the kids do these days, they drink turpentine.

Actually I quite like the smell of it, so it will only greater attract me to you.

I'm sure there are women stalkers too!

Can I just say that i'm not really a stalker, and i'm actually a fairly nice guy? Or is it too late... ;)

rfs please don't knife me

Because they actually hate you and you delude what they say to fit what you want them to say as some kind of weird defence mechanism because you lack self esteem?

    • There's only one date that's not pretty much sold out 😂
    • Madonna lived in the UK for absolutely ages and I think is still largely London-based at the moment.  I'm sure she'll be well aware.     But it wouldn't need to be either / or.  Lots of acts do both  - Glastonbury for the hype and BST for the pay.
    • There is a chance that Norton's reaction was very much like our reaction, because people in this country tend to think 'big = Glastonbury'.   Having said that, though, I'm fairly sure they've gone for her again this time, and it's broken down. Whether it's only just broken down or not, I'm not sure, but I'd air on the side of - they thought they had her, up to a certain point.
    • Yeah, I did wonder if they might be getting too big for Piece Hall now. Wet Leg did Castlefield this year and were subbing them at Tramlines. Wishful thinking! I'd happily see them do another outdoor headline in the north of England, wherever it might be (except R+L, which I'm def too old for now 😂)
    • You've certainly got a bunch of American acts who absolutely adore the festival and are willing to bring peanuts for it. You can never discount The Killers on that basis.
