Ah say what you want Liam but she is a big draw, The Beautiful People have been consistantly a high draw in viewing figures when you break down the show into 15 minutes blocks, and thats fact, plus they are over with the fans and she can work and talk.

I hope she will be back soon, I really hope she doesn't go to WWE and get wasted.

Forget WWE shes a draw for TNA. She does good ratings for TNA not compared to anything else, TNA gets the ratings its expected to get, and its difficult, they aren't getting the exposure WCW had, things are different, WCW had an installed fanbase with the South and then went huge, its not gunna happen with TNA, they're slowly trying to get mainstream, theres no point in comparing the ratings with WWE. But she is a draw for TNA, TNA sells tickets and PPVs based on the whole show, they don't really have huge stars but they can put on great matches, yes they have Kurt Angle who is their biggest star but no one individual sells a wrestling PPV, its all about fueds and the amount of matches on a show.

She was a big part of TNA over the last couple of years and thats that. The womens division in TNA isn't a piece of shit like it is in WWE, therefore in my eyes she mattered to the product

Although the Knockouts division started off well, it’s been down hill ever since. Still considerably better than the WWE's women’s stuff has ever been (excluding the Mickie James/Trish Stratus stuff from 2006) but that’s not saying much. Women’s wrestling will never be a major selling point for any American promotion; it's just an added bonus if it’s any good.

Just caught up on the last couple of weeks of Smackdown and all I can say is WOW. The outcomes of the Punk vs. Hardy cage match and this weeks Mysterio vs. Morrison match were obvious but that didn't matter they still managed to make me think that they were going the other way on a few occasions. Signs of a really good wrestling match right there. Smackdown is so much better than anything else right now.

Has any one seen the Dragon Gate USA PPV yet? Possibly the best show I have ever seen. Actual non-stop action (unlike TNA who I'm convinced have forgotten what their name stands for). For me the Young Bucks vs. CIMA/Yokosuka match is a legitimate MOTYC. Not one match was anywhere near bad and after hearing the results from last nights tapings they may have done the impossible and put on an even better show. If you want two hours of excellent, breath-taking wrestling you need to download this right now.

Yer... that Jenna Morasca vs Sharmell match was awesome wasn't it? I love the way they're pushing Christy Hemme at the moment. This Tara vs Slick Johnson feud has been particularly rivetting. Oh, and it's always good to see Traci Brook's boobs get tv time they deserve.

EDIT 2 - UK Raw guest host? Ricky Hatton is a good shout, im sure theres other UK celebrity fans out there, if they use a wrestler Id be gutted, Hatton would be a top choice, Over the years Ive seen at the shows in person Andy Gray and Shane Richie, im sure theres others too, neither of those would work for the US audience though

UFC on FIVE

UFC comes to UK terrestrial tv with Channel 5 deal

In another Telegraph exclusive, I can reveal that UFC will begin broadcasting on UK terrestrial television for the first time next Monday, at midnight, with a one-hour special on UFC 102.

It marks a new staging post for mixed martial arts onto terrestrial television, at a time when UFC is making huge strides into the mainstream.

The hour show on Channel FIVE will show the Couture-Nogueira, Jardine-Silva, and Marquardt-Maia fights in full. I can also reveal that this will be a regular thing.

UFC UK Division President Marshall Zelaznik said: “This is a huge step for the UFC in the UK. We are delighted to partner up with FIVE - who are trailblazers in their approach to both sports and programming - and bring the best bouts and the world’s greatest fighters to the largest possible audience. ”

Zelaznik added: “We know we are going to create a whole new generation of UFC fans on FIVE. The UFC continues to smash records at the biggest arenas in the British Isles for our live events and form partnerships with the biggest names in British broadcasting.”

The show is to be called - UFC: Main Event.

The regular one-hour UFC: Main Event shows will be broadcast on FIVE Sunday/Monday nights at midnight. The first instalment hits the airwaves on at midnight Monday night, September 14, when FIVE will broadcast the now classic heavyweight three-round battle between icons Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Randy Couture, along with other exciting bouts from the UFC 102 super-card which took place in Portland, Oregon, USA on August 30.
