Any news?

A lot of bands will do Aus/NZ in Jan/Feb then make their way over to Europe by May.

I can't see system doing their own shows 2 years running but a festival run would be worth their time.

Oh I very much hope so. Any festival getting Blink and SOAD in the same year is onto a winner for me, I just hope it's Werchter being one of them

SOAD and FNM aus/nz tour confirmation

I've now deluded myself into thinking that we are getting both at Download

Hopefully it's happening 🤞

Well one thing for sure is that Download will go for FNM next year.

Not enough to convince me quite yet, it's too close to the states compared to just hopes back there for the year.

I’ve always heard Blink and FNM are locks for weeks now

Still don't see FNM headlining although I wouldn't be against it personally

I think if they have Blink and System (not saying they do) they can get away with a 'weak' third headliner

I agree tbh.

Blink and SOAD would enable them to go cheaper on the 3rd, so FNM or Deftones could get that spot, I’m personally not a fan of the idea of either being headliner but I’m also aware SOAD and Blink would be a hell of the budget gone

The further away we get from any Slipknot announcement for a new album makes them unlikely albeit there is still plenty of time.

I don't think either should but it'll be budget. As had been mentioned recently from other places though, Live Nation are not strapped for cash but also without an alternative option they don't have to spend as much. Blink, Slipknot and SOAD with FNM taking second stage headliner would be the one.

I heard this on the DL forum just after 2026 ended...

There was suggestions of blink, Bmth and deftones, but given deftones sold out their tour in seconds, think that may be too strong.

If the festival pulled in SOAD then that trio isn't too strong at all. Blink, SOAD and BMTH is way bigger than that trio in itself.

Blink/SOAD/BMTH is definitely what I'm hoping for if Bring Me being their is true

But I think Blink/BMTH/Deftones is probably more likely

Well the time to fly to Aus for them is long than to fly here. The biggest indication will be later September when RAR and Nova Rock announce their first drop. If they can't get SOAD back over then nor will Download. Neither of those will be vying for or feel a need to get Slipknot either as played both last year

It's three arena bands i'd argue that trio would be cheaper than this years trio and maybe even 2025 because green day would of cost a fair wack

A trio of Blink/SOAD/BMTH would be more expensive

I'm not sure Blink couldn't do bigger than arenas but they have the option I guess over festivals already announced. They couldn't do them everywhere like a SOAD though for example.

    • All you can say is...     If he couldn't convince nations that really would've benefitted from the short-term hit of an up-front £50mil payment by this time next year, what hope did he have?   Guess we'll now just have to monitor and see if this could derail Infantino's plans to be re-elected FIFA President next year.
    • Spider-Man: Brand New Day   Highlight was a bloke reacting to the post-credit scene by going "Holy f**k it's Tobey Maguire!" despite the scene having no reference to him at all. Which made my close-to-full screening of the film laugh a lot.   Film was pretty good. It was interesting as much as an exploration of the ramifications of the end of No Way Home and being about isolationism and male loneliness, which I thought it actually did quite well. Though I do ponder if I liked it as much as the other 3 Tom Holland Spider-Man movies. Sadie Sink was good tbf, while I also liked Jon Bernthal as Punisher, enough that I might go watch his Disney+ shows.   Seem to have had a Marvel kick recently having also watched Thunderbolts and Shang-Chi, both of which I thought were pretty good.
    • Wolf Alice won't get headliner for Reading either, they will sub if they play, that is where their level has stopped I feel. Both TFG and Skyvip for the big shows this year was just a stretch too far. Every headliner this year is bigger than them too I'd say.   Agree with Capaldi I don't think Yungblud will be at Reading. I would guess Bludfest 3 or Download.
    • If Dolly Parton could do it, I highly doubt it. Just not right for it.   This
