With less than 3 weeks away to go until the line up announcement. Not just headliners but what ten bands do you predict to appear at Download Festival 2026?

I made a list of acts I think we have a chance of seeing this year

 

I think Bad Omens, Bilmuri and Beartooth are all pretty likely, with Beartooth being the lesser of the three.

 

I think Babymetal are also more or less confirmed since last year.

 

Nova Twins are a solid pick for me, and Evanescence are a band I'd be thrilled to see on the lineup too. In this moment are another possibility, all thought I'm not sure what they're up to recently.

 

Architects, Pendulum, Thornhill and Loathe are all touring this season, and so all are possibilities in my mind. And I want Loathe to get a second chance after getting cut short this year. Don Broco could always come back as they were really well received this year.

 

I'd love some J-rock and Visual Kei appreciation, and I think both One OK Rock and Jiluka could fit well into downloads roster.

 

Breaking Benjamin, Electric Callboy and Hollywood Undead are all at other festivals in Europe so may come download too.

 

Knocked Loose have been heavily requested for a while now and would do great as a tent headliner. Same for Tallah although they're possibly in less demand. I think 156/silence would also go down well.

 

I'd also really hope to see Periphery (my personal pick)

- Holding Absence 

- Within Temptation

- Pierce the Veil (not my cup of tea but for the younger audience)

 

And yes I'm fully aware this is way more than ten sorry

nice selection! I would be pleased with 8/10 of those acts. Two acts I am not the biggest fan but would watch for sure.
