looks..sketchy

Actually it’s the biggest bulgarian promoter and this is their new project. They are basically doing all the big concerts in Bulgaria for the last 3-4 years. I don’t expect problems with the venue aswell. They are doing Hills of Rock (more metal/guitar orientated festival) on the same place for some time now and all looks fine. Hills of Rock is actually the weekend after this festival so they will be using the same facilities for both.

It seems difficult enough to get to. Not super convenient

It’s a two hour ride with a bus or train from Sofia where there’s plenty of flights .

Also the city is very nice. Lots of history, nice places to eat and drink. And the weather should be glorious that time of the year.

The festival will probably be somthing with the size of InMusic. One main stage and two small ones.

It looks promising for now. With three or four more good names might be a nice value for this price of the ticket.

Does anyone know the exact location in Plovdiv where it will be held. Want to check accomodation

https://www.google.com/maps/place/42°08'51.5"N+24°43'13.7"E/@42.147625,24.7179093,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m4!3m3!8m2!3d42.147625!4d24.7204842?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI1MTAxNC4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D

This is the exact location provided by the promoter. Early birds are now sold out, price now is 140 euros.

This is how the line up looks after today’s new additions.

This is shaping up to be the first proper modern summer festival in Bulgaria that can really be a competition to the european ones. And maybe one of the most interesting in the Balkans area.

Don’t expect much more new names, maybe just a few. But for that price it is still looking like value for money.

that's looking very decent! Will have a look at this for future years... Please report backhow it was if you go. I expect some possible teething issues if it's their first year but for 140euros for allt hat, you cannot complain at all!

It’s the first year of this festival but they are making a bit more heavy rock festival Hills of Rock four years already on the same venue with basically the same setup, stages, capacity and facility wise.

All the facilities for PhillGood will stay for Hills of Rock for the next week.

Also for a few years now they are basically the biggest local promoter making the biggest stadium type concerts, so i feel pretty good about organisation.

But yeah, definitely will report after the festival. All my friends here interested in music and concerts are going, so it was an easy choice.
