Way Out West Festival 2026

Bleech 9:3 and Westside Cowboy in the same venue and within walking distance sounds like a proper last night. I'm sure I'll see IceAge somewhere else next year.

Saturday starts a bit slow for me, let's see if there are movie options. First two days are quite stacked, can't wait!

i guess that depends what you're looking for, I'd watch 5 acts on the whole lineup but then people going will watch like 15 so that's fair

Can you just maybe leave a thread alone and let people get on with being enthusiastic about a festival they are going to?

Bleach and Westside were both very good at Werchter.  Have a great time watching them and the weekend

Well in all fairness its a festival has The Cure at which I'm interested in so it's not just a random post.

I don't believe I have tried to belittle anyone's view, excitement or opinion of the festival so I have not stopped anyone's enthusiasm. A LOT of people have acts at festivals that would suit other days for them. That first day at festival would been very tempting.

Im not sure what your issue is really.

My issue is you spraying your negativity all over threads for festivals that you have no intention of going to, and which lots of other people are perfectly happy with going to, and who don't give a f- whether The Cure are playing on the Thursday, Friday or Saturday.

Just give it a rest instead of trying to dominate every single thread on this forum. It's tedious.

You have belittled people's view by looking at a festival line up with 100 or so names on it and snottily declaring that there were only 5 acts on it that you'd want to see, like you're the self appointed arbiter of good line ups across all festivals in Europe. You've been doing this for years across numerous account names and it's boring.

Great!, good for them, you are well out of the loop! I'm afraid you have zero grounds for what your issue is and it's built on some unstanciated nonsense! Whether people care or not does NOT make it negative at all. God have you seen the Download forum where people literally say all the time I'd be all over that particular day. Don't create problems in your head for no reason with your boredom of grown men followers on here, not worth your time at all. It's got acts I like in which case, THERE IS INTEREST! Don't like it simply don't read or you're wasting your time and mine. Better still BLOCK ME!

Behave a move on you silly man lol. If you think that's the term of belittling then you've got the problem mate. Jesus lol the amount of people who mention how many acts for festivals each year interest them and it might be their last year or they can't see themselves going might have bypassed you. Nothing about your description of belittling is actually what the word means but carry on by all means. Go and have a go at the people who constantly say they want the SAME NAMES EVERY YEAR! if you are that bothered?!, because that's not tedious!, or just point and shoot where you want!

I doubt I'm stopping anyone buying into lol.

Really looking forward to this now.  Long term St Etienne fan and it looks like they are playing their best songs so hopefully I'll see at last some of their set.  Think I will get to site after Lily Allen on the Thursday which is a shame (why is she on so early?) but can't be helped.  Hadn't listened much to Fcukers or Geese up til now but pleasantly surprised.  Any other tips welcomed, including for Stay Out West and Gothenburg in general.  Hotel is pretty near the festival site if that's relevant.

Have you tried Anna von Hausswolff yet? Great singer, and she's from Gothenburg so guess she'll be extra excited to show her skills, especially after she unfortunately had to cancel her early summer dates.

Different style, but Oklou for me was the highlight of Primavera (apart from Geese), really enjoyable relaxed music.
