Were I not meant to be down the day after, I might have considered trains. Last one to West Yorkshire isn't until half ten, I think, so should have been ample time.

That might be an option, park in Leeds get the train down and back.

Nah, that would be a very fast move from Brixton to King's Cross. (I assume King's Cross?).

What's the last train?

22:35, that’s plenty and also allows a stop to stock up on a McDonalds and some snacks from the shop.

Oh, beautiful!

Aye, I'd be on that. In fact, if the hotel price is silly in London, I could be tempted to come back up and then go back down again on the Monday.

But even as I type that, I realise it sounds preposterous. Get meself a Premier Inn, I'll be reet.

Aye, they're not too bad. They're decently priced the night after on the Monday for Beyonce - trying to get it booked but I'm waiting on the rest of my companions to give me the go-ahead. Too busy faffing about sadly, with, y'know, life.

Try the hubs the ones near Shoreditch and brick lane are always cheap and it’s not too far from Liverpool Street

I got a twin room at the Brixton Premier Inn for Friday 13th for £99. It's non-refundable but I'll definitely use it as planning a double header with Charli XCX at Lido the following day.

Haven't booked LCD tickets yet as reckon I'll pick them up just beforehand, hopefully a bit cheaper. Know weekends will be more in demand but can't see them selling out all the dates. It's also the case that people's plans change so tickets always come up.

How long are their own non-festival shows? Generally two hours or so? Toss in forty minutes of support and we'll be laughing.

Going back to this, I'm sure I've read that they don't typically have a support act? Or just someone DJing. Consensus seems to be they play for about 2 hours at a headline (non-fest) show as you say

I do wonder how many will actually not read the fine-print and turn up about seven for the Sunday shows.

I for one am looking forward to being out at nine and potentially finding myself a nice pint of bitter somewhere in Clapham.

Annoyingly if I had realised the Sunday gigs were early curfews I absolutely would have gone for that over Saturdays. I'm always moaning that 11pm curfews are too late 😂

Pretty sure it was the awesome Mermaid Chunky as support for the last lot of Brixton gigs.

Too late!!!

Way too early. No venue should shut that early. 1am or later. As for these weird matinée shows, absolutely nonsense. Going out before 10pm is also weird

I’m going to do the first 3 shows. Saw them at the Barrowlands last year and was on the barrier. An absolute all timer gig for me! But I did miss them play Daft Punk there and in Bristol so I’m hoping by doing 3 in a row I’ll defo see it!
