That Friday main stage is pretty much what I expect too and will be incredible.

If Volbeat can sub, so can Halestorm. Baby Metal aren't subbing second from playing The 02. I'm looking more at the glaring ommission of Trivium subbing main stage.

A curveball arena act is have last lose ends tied up by the sounds of it and they want it announce it on their own because they are a massive curveball. Something fans have been asking for over and over and they are finally ready to deliver. While it's taken to be believed to be an act, it doesn't directly stipulate that it is an act but if it was something like an arena arrangement you could surely just announced that as it wouldn't need working in so much as confirm it. 

 

There has been suggestion of a dance act of some kind after they added a dance area into the arena this year with the idea of Fatboy Slim and Faithless coming out. I dont think anyone has asked for that for ages. All I can think of is that people have asked for a way to have more choices for alternative headline options. Feeder clashing with Bizkit rather than playing before would be a good idea for example, but there is nothing stopping that clash apart from the band. The avalanche and main stages won't sound bleed.

Maybe someone like Skrillex doing a set? Would be a curveball but could see the interest for a festival like DL and the crowd.

 

Also for the 2027 headliner, could see them trying to persuade Panic at the Disco after their comeback this year..

Didn’t even see this until now 😂 this genuinely wasn’t even a pop at anyone, just a comment on how the doom and gloom seemed to take a 180 once the full poster dropped. Phrased badly? Absolutely. You’re allowed not to like the lineup obviously lol

I dont think Skrillex is a massive curveball act. Thing is they've had Chase and Status before as well so it's not that out of the blue.

 

The 2027 act has got to be in with a chance of being Foos. Panic aren't an act they are going to surely very going for to headline, let alone as a big one having not done it before. Panic will be in the Slam Dunk conversation.

Paramore surprisingly played much further down the lineup years ago, Same with Twenty One Pilots

Bon Jovi haven't played since it was Monsters of Rock. They're touring 2026 so not beyond the realms of possibility for 2027. Probably doesn't fit the new mould but who knows.

I think NIN are in that conversation, The Cure would be a great grab as well and would show some balls to book them. The undercard top however is very much still heavy rock/metal, metalcore and they would have looked out of place booking this year, last year mot so much.

Not a graphics designer or anything it's just normally they have a well made background not just a PNG of some magma and download dog hastily faded in the middle

Any Poster that doesn't show stage splits are purposefully trying to be inconvenient 

 

I have to go out of my way to find the stage splits for 2023
