Would NIN/Muse/LP go down well?

Yes I think it would. Though I’m pretty much in support of any band combination as headliner as long as GnR, Tool and Def Leppard aren’t in it 🤣 even Limp Bizkit I’d be fine with them headlining, will I be thrilled no will I moan at first yes because I’ve seen them last 2 years. Will I have a lot of fun during their set and not care about what I just said, YES 🤣

I find it funny you say that then that proceed to give your personal feelings. You're using "business logic" as an explanation of NorthernAngel was wrong yet you're very crudely thinking "people know GNR therefore it makes business sense".

If you look at the Download line-ups since the refresh a couple years ago, you'll see Guns 'n Roses does not fit the profile of artists Download has been going after for their headliners since 2023. At least how I see it.

Didnt say anything personal aside from axl cant sing in my opinion. business logic dictates gnr are a massive ticket seller due to their popularity. it's not anything controversial, it's factual. they also had metallica since 2023, there's no rule suddenly outlawing massive bands from 70/80/90s because they're blooding younger bands.

For the record, I don't dislike GNR. The person feeling and it's widely shared that Axl is poor. I personally think LP will out sell GNR at Download also day long currently.

i agree, his vocals are shot to pieces sadly. but i dont think that will have any real impact on ticket sales. people just like to say 'i was there' linkin park will sell well as they havent rinsed it to death for 10 years like gnr - but without chester, it's not quite the same draw.
