I have a feeling if they don't appear at Tramlines or Y Not then they may be at Piece Hall, that's if they decide to come up North that is

They would fit really well at the Piece Hall. Would definitely get a ticket for that.

Yeah, if there's any chance of them coming over here I do think it's for headline outdoor shows rather than festival headlines.

I highly doubt they will be a Truck but a Thursday headline isn't out of the question.

They effectively had two indie days last year though. Maybe they'll sub for Rev.

I think it's pretty nailed on that they'll headline the main stage. I think you're underestimating how much of a fanbase they have in this area

Tramlines Insta has been liking comments which mention the Reytons, not that it'll come as a surprise. Fair play to them but I think they're absolutely awful. Proper pastiche guff.

Depressing. I'm 'manifesting' them away, in honour of word of the year 😂

Fellas in their late thirties still writing about stuff they were doing in their early twenties.  Appreciate there is a market for them and they have done well but not for me.

Looking likely that Inhaler, Wombats, Courteeners, Prodigy are all playing Y Not judging by the comments the official account has liked on Instagram.

I reckon we will see Inhaler, Wombats and Courteeners but for whatever reason I doubt the Prodigy at tramlines

Wombats surely not headliner material, are they?

No, but they will probs be on the lineup

I actually backtrack regarding what I said about The Prodigy.

My final prediction is Reytons, Prodigy, Fatboy Slim in no particular order, and I think it'll be the same at Y Not only with Reytons replaced by Courteeners as headliner

Granted I'm biased as all hell considering they're one of my favorite bands, but I will never understand how the likes of James, Paolo Nutini, Madness, Supergrass and Paul Heaton can headline these festivals but Wombats can't. They've got the perfect mix of massive bangers everybody knows and new material that is actually relevant and enjoyed by fans. If the bloody Reytons are being pushed to headline Tramlines, the Wombats should easily get the chance at a Tramlines/Y Not as well.

Everybody know bs everybody likes I think is the major difference. You could probably take Killed The Director, Dance to Joy Division and Moving to New York out of a Wombats set and for me that is virtually then dead and unknown.

Courteeners headlined twice so surely not again ?

Hope you are right with Inhaler as they would be part of my dream line up.

Wombats toured arenas multiple times, without doubt more headliner level than lots mentioned above, feel they’ve got to go big and popular . after the disaster last year , Gerry wombats prodigy , would be that. Also biffy big enough but unsure they’re dark fruits enough for trammers. Courteeners too recent and twice. Fatboy slim as Sunday pm slot?

    • Primavera refunding day tickets which are probably a negligible percentage of attendees yesterday.
    • Thursday day tickets being refunded. Fair play.
    • I’ve had a good sleep and I feel weirdly zen about the whole thing.   My first Primavera, so not the greatest first impression. I guess today couldn’t be any worse, right?   Thoroughly enjoyed Men I Trust and Geese. Cupra is a beautiful stage and the crowd seemed fun, friendly and engaged.   I think it probably could have gone even worse, considering how dangerous the crowding felt at times.   Anyway, we go again.
    • Brighton centre is a weird old venue for the Mary Wallopers - a great band, a really good live spectacle, and its a saturday night as well which sets it all up - but its at the bloody Centre? a charmless nonsense of a conference centre? Brighton dome is a ten min walk away and is so much nicer a place to see bands its ridiculous!    ah well, i'll probably mosy along anyways . . .
    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
