We are thrilled to welcome new names to our Second Stage; Arthur Hill brings his energetic, eclectic indie/pop sounds, Cardiff-born singer-songwriter Ben Ellis brings his raw storytelling and intimate yet electrifying stage presence, Midnight Generation bring their infectious disco-electronic beats and high-energy performances, and Son Mieux, a seven-piece band from The Hague, delivers danceable rhythms and poignant lyrics.

Our Sunrise Arena also continues to grow with some brilliant new additions from rising artists: Westside Cowboy, Silver Gore, Lyvia, Somebody’s Child and Olive Jones join the bill on our woodland stage, showcasing their incredible musical talents.

Brad Kella, winner of Channel 4 show The Piano, will perform on our stunning Waterfront Stage. Discovered in Liverpool, Kella’s journey from leaving school without GCSEs to earning a Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts scholarship has captivated audiences. Now signed and a debut album on the way, Kella will play a historic performance at The Beatles Story, becoming the first musician in over a decade to play John Lennon’s last piano.

The Alcove Stage at Latitude has long been a vital platform for emerging artists. This year we are excited to welcome Freak Slug, The Wytches and VOWWS to the headline billings. Freak Slug, led by Manchester’s Xenya Genovese, blends alt-pop with darker, experimental sounds on her debut album. The Wytches bring raw energy and chaotic sound with emotional lyrics, while VOWWS, an Australian duo based in L.A., introduce their signature “death pop” to the stage.

SISTRA, known for emotional alt-pop, will showcase tracks from The Pursuit of Feeling Fine alongside her upcoming release Between My Shoulder Blades. Neckbreakers, an electrifying punk rock band, deliver their raw, high-energy sound, while Ellur, a rising indie-pop artist, captivates with dreamy yet bold melodies. Manchester-based duo samxemma fuse maximalist electronic music with glitchy drops, and Nxdia, an Egyptian-British alt-pop artist, challenges gender norms with fierce confidence.

rish singer-songwriter Aaron Rowe brings heartfelt, emotive music, and TTSSFU, a high-energy punk band, continues to gain traction with their debut EP. Mandrake Handshake, an alt-rock band with a dark, psychedelic sound, continues to captivate UK audiences. Imogen & The Knife explore themes of identity with ethereal vocals and experimental sound, while  Young Athena fuses soul, R&B, grime, and hip-hop, and has already earned airplay on BBC Introducing and BBC 1Xtra.

London-based duo RIP Magic blend indie rock with experimental electronics, catching the attention of Tyler, the Creator. BOLD Love is a Dublin-based dream-pop band gaining praise for its evocative sound. Rising indie singer-songwriter Finn Forster continues to gain recognition for his introspective style. Nadia Kadek, an emerging indie-pop star, has impressed Glastonbury audiences with her storytelling, while The Pill, a punk duo, has made a name for itself with its high-energy performances.

Across The Arts

Whether it’s quick-fire improv or personal, insightful stand-up, Latitude’s comedy lineup has something for everyone, ensuring a weekend full of laughter and unforgettable moments. Joining the bill on the Comedy Arena presented by TK Maxx is Jen Brister, a stand-up comic seen on BBC’s Live at the Apollo, QI, and Mock the Week. Known for her powerful performances and sharp observations, Jen has toured extensively with her solo shows and written a comedy memoir, The Other Mother.

Olga Koch – who was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2018, Best Show at Leicester Comedy Festival in 2020, longlisted for Best Stand Up Show at the National Comedy Awards in 2021 and her show Fight won the 2022 Writers Guild Award for Best Radio Comedy – returns to the comedy stage.

Also returning to Latitude are The Comedy Store Players, featuring the original stars of Whose Line Is It Anyway?—Josie Lawrence, Richard Vranch, Neil Mullarkey, and Lee Simpson. Their razor-sharp wit and spontaneous improv paired with audience suggestions steering the show ensures no two performances are the same.

Since debuting in 2019, The Listening Post has become a festival highlight, celebrating the power of live spoken word. Notable guests this year include Brian Bilston, Twitter’s unofficial Poet Laureate, known for his humorous verse, and journalist and author Maya Oppenheim, who will discuss the impact of Andrew Tate on modern culture, drawing from her book The Pocket Guide to the Patriarchy.

The Penguin Podcast is coming to Latitude with a special live episode of its brand-new series, Ask Penguin. In this live recording, the podcast will take listeners inside Penguin Books, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the authors, editors, and other incredible people who bring the magic of books to life. From discovering your next page-turning read to learning what a day in the life of an editor is like, Ask Penguin covers it all.

Comedians Amy Gledhill and Harriet Kemsley will bring their podcast Single Ladies in Your Area to the stage, exploring the challenges of dating in your 30s. Emily Buchanan will read from her acclaimed debut novel, Send Flowers, a story about grief and activism, while Sarah Lamptey and Alice Hopkins return to host, guiding audiences through a weekend of thought-provoking discussions, poetry, and live performances.

Adding to the line-up of bestselling authors, headline speakers, podcasters, and special guests, Latitude will showcase words of wisdom and wonder from the upcoming National Poetry Centre in Leeds. Spearheaded by Poet Laureate Simon Armitage and set to open in 2028,  the centre promises to be a national hub for poetry, literacy, and learning, celebrating diverse voices, fostering creativity, and making poetry more accessible. As part of its mission, the centre will bring poets to Latitude, taking over The Bookshop at Latitude on Sunday.

Faber & Faber, one of the world’s great independent publishing houses, is taking over The Bookshop on Saturday. Founded in 1929 with poetry at its core – with T.S. Eliot as its first Poetry Editor – Faber has consistently discovered and published the finest writers in fiction, non-fiction, poetry, drama, film, and children’s books.

Martha Kearney will curate a special day of nature writing events at The Bookshop on Friday, bringing together celebrated authors and nature enthusiasts to explore the connection between storytelling and the natural world. A long-time resident of Suffolk, Kearney possesses a profound love for the countryside and frequently walks at Redgrave and Lopham Fen, a wetland landscape owned by the Suffolk Wildlife Trust.

“I have been coming to Latitude for close to  20 years and love the way the festival has celebrated writing as well as music. It will be brilliant to introduce so many talented nature writers to a broader audience” – Martha Kearny

Norfolk’s Patrick Barkham, a renowned natural history writer for The Guardian, will be a guest of Martha Kearney at The Bookshop. A key figure in the revitalisation of British nature writing, Patrick has authored several acclaimed books.

With still a wealth of music, comedy, theatre, dance, poetry and podcasts still to announce, plus our Kids & Family and Wellness programmes, there’s something for everyone at Latitude. Weekend and Day tickets are on sale at the link below, we’ll see you in the summer…

Is Alanis now totally ruled out do you think? I've been holding out hope that the Ticketmaster "accidental reveal" might still come good...

I think there's a chance she could be a secret set or something but the moment I don't think she'll be there

A) I think she'd have been announced by now, she'd be a big get for the festival

B) she'd be headlining over FBS or SP and there aren't many slots yet left to full

I wouldn't be surprised if she was booked and they leaked it by mistake but she then pulled out later. If she was performing she'd either be playing Friday (but she has a show in Italy the day before) so it'd more likely be Saturday. She's at the O2 on Sunday so would be ruled out for then. I remember there was a similar situation in 2022 where Haim had dates right before the festival but never played

It's coming up to 100 days to go till the festival starts so maybe they'll do another announcement then, there's been an extra slot open up on Obelisk on the Sunday so there should be 2 acts TBA there and an extra act due on the Obelisk on Saturday and in the tent Saturday as it looks like they're having 8 acts a day on there this time

Well, after having no luck in the Glasto resales I've just gone and booked Latitude to cheer myself up. Will keep my fingers crossed that Alanis is booked for the Friday or Saturday and it just hasn't been announced yet as her management want to make sure the O2 show sells out... But even if not, I'm happy to have this booked now. 🙂

Looks like they're going for the BlueDot market now as well with a new science/arts section

They always go above and beyond for their arts lineups

They seem to have had their launch thing today also with a few local Norfolk and Suffolk acts announced, I'd hazard a guess we get a few more main stage names later in the week too

I'd personally rather they saved the money on this stage and put it towards some better bands. There's plenty of forums to discus Science and culture, through various University engagement projects and dedicated festivals like the Cambridge Festival. Latitude at it's core should be a Music and arts festival. I'd prefer they brought back the Film tent, Cabaret tent or upped the quality of the musical and arts offerings before booking this.

Judging from previous years having 7 acts per day on the Obelisk (I know there's the odd exception like Sunday last year having 8 acts) it looks like there's a slot left on Friday and Sunday

The tent has 7 acts Friday and Saturday but 8 for Sunday so not sure if that means we're due another act for the other 2 days there too

I'd imagine we'll get some more acts this week as they've started pushing the 2 months to go stuff on social media now

Had an email saying set times are coming 'very soon' which in Latitude terms is within the next week

Just wondering if there's anything else to be added, it looks like there's an act due on the Obelisk friday still so I guess it could be a secret set?

We've probably got the last few bits of late night stuff and arts names added too, im just excited to get my weekend planned. Im definitely looking forward to it a bit more after watching various festivals on TV

I am still hoping for a couple more bands to be added, there's certainly a few gaps for it. I must say, the 'drip feed' of announcements this year seems worse than I remember. Will be good to start planning what we're going to watch, but I can already see I'm going to have a few time clashes.

Nuts, I had hoped WH Lung would have an afternoon slot on the Sunrise Arena, but they are on at 8.45. Might have to ditch Air completely now unfortunately and leg it to Sunrise after Elbow and catch the last 15-20 minutes of WH Lung - how long does it take to walk from the Obelisk to the Sunrise Arena?. Really good news that Doves and Elbow don't clash though (although Doves finish at 7.30 and Elbow start at 7.30) as that would have been a crazy, crazy clash as they are incredibly similar bands so if you want to see one then the chances are you would want to see the other!

You can probably do it in 5/10 minutes, the site is quite compact so you should be able to do your plan

Overall pretty happy with the times, looks like I have a much busier weekend than I thought I would!

Are the timings on the app correct? Maribou State playing for 90 minutes is obviously an error.

I had the same thought about Elbow having 90 minutes and Snow Patrol having 75 despite them being the headliner

Maybe a few things are still due to be ironed out and they'll properly launch them tomorrow
