Performer crew camping

Hi, we are joing our performance crew friends for the first time this year and have acquired performer passes (will be backstage crewing over the weekend for them). We were hoping to take our campervan but I don't think we will be able to so will be staying in a tent.

Couple questions, upon arrival Tuesday, we are aware we need to purchase a parking pass, does anyone who is working crew know if we can do this, and get parked before the 9pm entry for public? Or be allowed access to crew parking if we don't have a crew parking pass?

Then, are we allowed to park our campervan on the normal parking fields as long as we are not sleeping in it?

I believe we will be near gate C as that is where I believe we will be camping closest too.

Any other tips that may be helpful for our first time too?

Thanks in advance.

If you haven't been given a crew/performer pass in advance, you won't be able to park early or go to the crew/performer car park (which is to the West of the site in Orange.). It's pot luck as to which car park you get directed into, although if you know which side of the site you will be working on (i.e. East or West), you'll improve your chances of you plan your route so you'll be arriving at that side of the site.  For Gate C you'd want to be arriving at the East side of the site.

Yes, you can park your camper in the car parks but you're not officially allowed to sleep in it.  I do know some people who get away with it, but you'd need to be stealthy...

If you don't have a GA festival ticket you won't be able to buy a car park pass via to usual method. Not sure how you can resolve this without asking your friend who got you the performer ticket to contact whoever they set it up with to ask how you can get a parking ticket.
