I did have a chat with the presiding officer, he told that there had been one other person earlier in the day, who had been remonstrating with the polling staff about the ID requirement, and disappeared in a huff never to return. It sounded like this was a retired gentleman, but this is 2nd hand, and I can't personally confirm it. I'm not meant to discuss politics with the punters, but a young-ish couple did express concerns that a low turnout would be due to ID requirements.
