MickeyJJ
Hiya - not long now! Quick Question to anyone who has experience travelling on the National Express coach to Glastonbury, not the coach and ticket package, just the regular chartered coach... Are there any restrictions on volume of luggage you can take? Not planning to go mad, but I assume a large rucksack, tent, and small bag that can fit under the seat would be fine? theciderviking
The lads playing giant Tetris with 15 cases of Stella in 2019 suggest that anything is possible if you try hard enough! 😂 I usually have my 85L backpack (with sleeping bag, SIM and chair strapped to the outside), tent and then a smaller 40L backpack that I take on with me, and never had an issue - in fact, compared to the majority on the coach I've usually packed light. Simsy
In 2016 there were a couple of lads with a trolley of beer on my coach. Driver was going to make them leave it behind because it wouldn't fit underneath, but ended up putting it on the coach blocking the aisle (so everyone in the back half had to climb over it to get to the loo or get out). Not ideal when we were stuck in that nightmare traffic. Big bag + tent + hand luggage should be fine.

Ah this is really helpful, and probably more stuff than I plan to take - so thank you!
squirrelarmy
Basically if you can carry it then it’s going to fit. The only issues you’ll get is if you turn up with a trolley full of stuff and you’re not the only one attempting to get one on the coach. Quark
Yep, my NE trip in 2019 was similar to ciderviking's. I've got an army surplus 100l long bergen with side pouches, travelled with that and a tent. Don't think I took a rucksack on the coach with me, just carried some water and had everything else in my pockets. And yeah I think I was probably travelling pretty light by comparison, but it meant I was 100% happy that it wouldn't be my stuff getting left behind if we were overloaded! 😄
