Best way back to Brizzle afterwards

So I've ended up with needing to travel half way across the country in order to get on a bus to come straight back again so that I can get my ticket to get into the festival. I'm obviously not going to get on the return leg of the coach back and forth again, but having never done anything other than drive to to site before what is the best way to get back to Bristol afterwards?

Are there random busses that you can just hop on that take you back to Bristol, or is getting to Castle Cary and then train the best option?

There's an hourly bus that goes straight back to Bristol, to Temple Meads. Cost £15 in 2017 and 2019. It'll be faster than going to Castle Cary then getting a train.

And yes, you can just queue up for one and hop on. Pay there and then.

We've got at least one SeeTickets return coach to Bristol someone in our group won't be using, you're welcome to use it. 1030 Monday morning.

Ooh, interesting! Increased to every 30 mins which is great, but a £7 price bump!

The express travel card option on iPhone will bring that down a bit. Not sure what it’s called on android. Essentially if you have it setup you just tap the card reader with your phone locked and it does the rest.    I’ve used it a few times recently and usual single from Brizzle to Posset is £5:50 cash.. on the ETC it’s £2:20!

    • Christ didn't even see that!
    • It does feel very bland. It would certainly spell another year (my third, I think) away from Pyramid headliners for me. That doesn't mean they aren't worthy, though. I don't follow what any of them are up to, as it isn't my thing. Good luck to them.   You would think coming off a fallow year, they would want one big hitter. 'Big hitter' is obviously open to debate, but that was/is Madonna. Let's have it right. The eggs have gone in that basket, and it seems (as far the rumours go) that it's blown up. So now you're left with another plan B/replacement headliner.   I'm still of the opinion that Oasis will do it, before the Oasis thing is all said and done. Probably 2028, if they can come to an agreement. It may transpire that 2027 is bland (or at least to some of us), and 2028 is a bit... wild.   Again, though, none of us categorically know ANY of the headliners, as it stands.
