The SNP will falter at some point

as they haven't done on the basis of being exposed by  the 2014 white paper, then scots will buy any old tripe. if indy had happened in 2014  Scotland would be completely fucked now.

There would be a refugee crisis as English people try to escape to Scotland.

some people probably thought same when Ireland did it.

Ireland wasn't promising its people a better standard of living from indy. Scotland has been, but its not there to be had, cos the uk gives Scotland loads, like its renewable energy, plus loads more.

set them free

the uk should give Scotland full fiscal autonomy and watch support for indy fall like a stone.

Anyway, don't think they'll get referendum granted,

me neither cos that would be an obligation on Westminster to act on behalf of just Scotland. (which probably breaks some obscure bit of legislation). the devolution bill is very clear on this subject. if the snp don't accept that part, maybe it should void the Scottish parliament part too).

maybe they wouldn't have loads of unfunded tax cuts that push the economy to the brink and mean we now will end up with loads of spending cuts.

just shit loads of unfunded spending. Scotland would need to cut spending like a tory (will do if independent too). which is why salmond the old perv went for the massive lies last time.

if you'd done indy in 2014 your president would have been in court for attempted rape, would that make scots proud of their independence.

no, just not shit loads of unfunded tax cuts. A bigger state, more equal society, more sexy scandinavian, more awesome.

pointing out that the uk lies about spending while keeping quiet about the snp  only exposes the hypocrisy.

so why haven't the snp done the Scandinavian thing  under devolution? they've been more new-labour than blair. not a jot of left-wing, they'd rather spend money on a vanity contest than help scots with the cost of living right now.

    • Hi Everyone!   I need your help. I'm trying work out who was playing at The Wishing Well at 3am on the Monday morning at the 2025 festival - this was once the official setlist had ended. The music was down tempo, bass heavy, kept evolving, just mesmerising. Anyone have any ideas? and/or was there as well?
