As I'm flying in from the Middle East (a no doubt tortuturous flight with Gulf Air) I'll have to have my stuff for the summer with me, including my various electronics (which I really need for work in August), plus a bag full of non festival clothes and what not. What's the deal with having a place to store stuff safely? I'm not too bothered about cost, i'd just rather leave my laptop and Ipad somewhere other than my mates car.

Any chance of leaving stuff in your mate's house? That would save having to carry it into the festival. If that's not possible, try to head for either gate A or gate C, as there are lockups just inside those. Its a bit further from the other gates to the nearest lockups.

The lock ups are equipped to take all sizes of luggage and are very safe and secure.

Sadly not. I land and then it's straight to the festival.

I believe you can store anything in the lock ups. I would be more worried about getting everything from the gates to whatever lock ups you use though. Specially in bad weather/mud.

Not sure what airport you are flying in to or how long you are staying in the UK, but Heathrow for example has storage facilities for up to 90 days;

Well that is jolly good news. 

Means heading back to London after the festival but sure I can cope with that.
