Bowie set

Am I not looking hard enough? When is the set from Bowie at Glastonbury being played through the screens?

They seem to be playing parts of it on the main stages between acts rather than the whole thing unfortunately.  There must be a good reason but it's a shame (in my opinion).

What @Beerqueen says and there's the risk that songs will be cut short or interrupted by announcements, stage timings going a bit awry etc.  

I would happily have lost one of the live performances and think it would have been popular enough for an early pyramid/other slot.  In honesty, I had kinda hoped that it would replace a headliner in one of the larger tents or the cinema tent but I know that's more about me being a Bowie obsessive.

There's no way a video of  past performance should replace any act's live performance. I'm sure the man himself would agree.

Back in January when he'd first passed, there was talk of there being a big singalong by all the fans in the pyramid field. No mention of any screenings of past gigs or anything. Just everyone singing in his memory.

Thats what I was looking forward to.

All of it? I wasn't actually at the Pyramid at the time but could here 'Heros' and the crowd going wild. Didn't think they played it all though. Another thing I missed.
