What would be worth the effort though is if you recruited all of your mates who would take a free ticket to tweet for you. Only really works if you're looking to just get yourself in, but obviously massively increases the odds.

If they do it again next year they might change it, but obviously it's also worth guessing stage squares right off the bat

That is a much more scrupulous way of doing it tbh, I'm of an age where I dont have 20 mates on twitter so I didnt think of this. 

I assume they didnt run it last year?

yeah it was, I mean I didn't feel immediately awful as I was too excited but afterwards I felt bad. I would feel extra bad if it was against someone on here tho. But I'm not sure if they are running any comps, I e-mailed them earlier in the year and asked and they said they hadn't received an allocation of tickets this year so not sure how true that is.

No seen any new comps yet. The UNICEF auction is still at £2500 with 8 days to go, a bit expensive but you get to hang out with Will Young at Glasto and have free drinks before Coldplay do their Wembley gig.

Looks like there were 12 correct answers, plus a 13th that was posted 2 minutes after the 9am deadline. The winner posted the correct answer second, but was the only one to leave a little message along with the answer. I'm not sure that has any relevance, but you never know.

_{So I think we can all admit that the chances of going at this point are next to none and any competition wins now are miracles. Does anyone want me to start sharing competitions for alternate festivals? There's so many competitions for other festivals!}

I'm not holding my breath with the Radio 1/1xtra comps, I e-mailed them earlier in the year and they mentioned they haven't had an allocation of tickets to be able to run a competition but you never know. I would put their competitions down as being the hardest to win because of the number of entries and the nature of the competition.

Only knowing about the BBC 6music comp from 2014, it was one winner for two tickets on the week before the festival, it ended with a phone in

Great picture says just what it needs to, really hope it helps get the message across, the biggest threat to the festival is people peeing in places they shouldn't.
