1. Not to return to the tent for sleep until the sun has risen

2. Place the guardian guide in my bad and not take it out until I'm home on the Monday

3. Let nothing stop the fun until it's time for 11 hours home on a bus, crying will stop the fun for sure

As for your #1 on this list the biggest tip me and my Partner do now is even if we are so exhausted we just want sleep so bad we will take a nap wherever we happen to be rather than going to the tent. The tent always spells a night ending for us. So we may sleep in a field for a set or something to that effect. It definitely assists in losing total sense of time and space which is also a huge win. Did it at a big fest with Billy Idol playing many years ago it was pretty awesome. Laid down WAY in the back took a nap. It was pretty surreal napping while occasionally waking up to live Billy Idol rocking out. After get up and start the next adventure.

It can be tough at times, but once time becomes truly a notion that matters nothing at all generally lead to my best festival experiences I ever have.

1. Finally get to an efests meet...

2. Buy the lovely people who helped me get a ticket a drink!

3. Explore more. Much more. I'll be solo this time around so I'm going to try and see more of circus and cabaret and I really want to have more than just a cursory 15 mins in the piano bar.

4. Try every Brothers flavour...

5. Have a wander round Silver Hayes this year after pretty much ignoring it so far.

Last year I made an effort to see some of the regular acts, that are always there, but which I never see.  So I got to the Beans on Toast @ Hell stage (far too crowded!) and Biggles wartime band @ bandstand.  Loads left, like wheel of 4 tunes and Mik Artistic, so hopefully tick off a few more this year.

Also more late night wandering, last year was a bit lacking on my part - I was all set for a late one Saturday night but then decided I'd rather be up for Dalai Lama and very glad I didn't miss that.

Wheel of 4 tunes were great fun! I'm glad to hear that they're regulars :).

I hope so, as I missed them!  Loads of people recommending them on here last year, as they'd been the previous year (or two?).  Though they're not on the efests lineup page yet...

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
    • Taxi mafia running their usual scam.
