If you're happy with being on the 'moon is made of cheese' side I'm quite happy to leave it there and let others decide on the respective levels of ridicule :D

i would have thought it obvious that i believe you're the one on the 'moon is made of cheese' side of this particular eu argument...we'll see what happens on 23rd June hey ;)

While I understand our trade agreements with the rest of the world are a very important aspect of the EU referendum, is it just me that thinks that basically the whole in/out debate is being centred around it?

This whole thing came about due to people's concerns about immigration, which come from varying levels of well-meaning concerns and racism/xenophobia. UKIP rose due to this, and Cameron offered a referendum as a way to try and win back votes from UKIP voters. Now we're in the situation we are in, and barely anything is being addressed on this side of the debate, it's all about how good the EU is for UK business/stuff like that which the majority of voters won't care much about and will just end up going and voting based on how they feel on immigration and what The Sun and the Daily Mail have decided is the way to go.

I'll be voting IN. If people don't think we're getting enough from the EU, it's because we aren't engaging in it enough. We'd have a lot more power in it if our politicians actually bothered with it rather sat in the corner like a spoilt brat refusing to take part.
