Primavera Sound 2016

Another sign that points to tomorrow rather than today is the At The Drive-In announcement that is due tomorrow which it seems will be related to them playing Primavera. A 24 hour countdown on the site would be nice though.

Today, Spanish papers have announced that there will be a new 3 days-festival with 6 stages in Madrid 16-18th June.

Rumours talk about Neil Young playing there, so maybe he won't be at Primavera as everybody is expecting...

the website is now offline for maybe an hour. just for one simple countdown? i don't think so.

I don't think the line-up release depends on them. Two American festivals have already announced them, so why should Primavera wait

I see that being an announcement for their own tour and/or new music, which Primavera could feature in but it would be surprisng if the festival was tied down to wait for the band's announcement before announcing their own line-up

LCD is apparently headlining Friday of Bonnaroo. The Dead is 100% headlining Sunday.

+ Tame Impala is already announced for Nos Alive. Therefore they will not be playing at PS Porto.

Don't read too much into it. The guy who tweeted it is also a well-known Razzmatazz DJ in Barcelona; it's probably banter. Still, let's wait and see if Radiohead is finally a head-liner...
