I know! I know! It's a proper waste of time to sit in the cinema tent all day!

But the trio of Age of Ultron, Whiplash and Theory of Everything on Saturday afternoon has got my attention.

Not got a lot of plans music-wise Saturday until DFA1979, so might have to pop along for AOU and/or Whiplash.

Anybody else at all?

I've done the Cinema a few times in the past (it was better in the Field and you could smoke there), but only ever Wednesdays and Thursdays, not sure I can justify to myself going when anything's actually.

That said, there is a gap early afternoon Saturday and I did want to see Age of Ultron but never got round to it...

I saw The Motorcycle Diaries in the cinema in the Common once. It sobered me up horribly, but it would be a great place to have a nap in if it's still there. I think we may have been the only people awake in there at the time.

Friday 2am, Terminator. I'm there. Not a fan of the SE corner and would like a sit down at that time to be honest!

Love that Bladerunner is showing on Weds evening. Pre thursday madness chill out.

Lol, you'll be in your tent turning over for second sleeps at that time grandpa.

Personally the whole watching a movie at a festival doesn't appeal. I can watch stuff on a screen at home anytime. I spend most evenings with two, the tv and laptop. Gonna explore other stuff with real people!! Exciting ( I live alone )

We sheltered in there during the heat of 2010 and watched the Doors Documentary I think...

I won't go out of my way to see something there over a band or show as you can always get / rent the DVD. But I can see why it might be popular with some x

I've watched the odd film at Glastonbury over the years. It's great, everyone cheering and shouting, or joining in with the classic films. Would annoy the fuck out of me in real life obviously but its fun at Glastonbury.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
