I just brought one of the ones from amazon that does many charges and take the festival phone. Will likely set up texts from Twitter feeds about any secret sets! Worked alright last year.

From personal experience go for an EasyAcc or Anker, anything above 12000 should be enough for the weekend with a recent smartphone. Keep it in the tent and charge while sleeping, does the trick for me.

Last year I took an easy acc and an anker. these kept 3 iphones and a Mobile wifi Acesspoint (on EE) charged all weekend (Tuesday night to monday morning)

My mate runs his own cctv & alarm fitting business so takes down a battery which he fashions in to a phone recharging point. It charges 4 phones at a time so it keeps all my group charged for duration of festival.

I got myself this one last year, got a near-full charge out of it every night and still had some left to charge a couple of friends phones.

I swear by my Anker (Astro E5 I think!), worked a treat with my S2 last year and Note 3 at Bestival as the S2 gave up the ghost. I like to have a couple of spare batteries to, just for convenience of swapping out if I need to, obviously iphone users/phones without removable batteries can't do this.

I just bought one of these which seems like a good buy at then moment. Just do what most people on here are saying buy a battery pack have a look on Amazon for whatever is cheap at the time there seems to be plenty of choice for about £20.

Just be very careful with what port you plug your device in to- if it's the wrong voltage it'll short the charger out (did on mine anyway!) and the only way to get it back...plug it into the mains. The lesson I lesrnt is make sure you know how to use it before you go to a festival!!

It works well enough and even if it's cloudy it does charge iPhones. I'm not a big fan of having my phone with me when I'm trying to chill out but need contact with home and elderly parents etc.
