How can anyone who's heard Courteeners even nearly, possibly, remotely relate them to Weezer

Courteeners are passable after 5 gallons of Brothers, Weezer are a hit, I'm a fan

6 pints of Brothers and I imagine I'd enjoy The Courteeners even more. Whether that's cos I'm a southern fairy or what, I don't know.

Weezer played at my summer ball in Bangor (says a lot I suppose) and they were okay. Athlete also made an appearance one year. As did Goldie Looking Chain. We had it all in Bangor, big time.

I don't fit the demographic. I'm a 36 yo female from Devon. I love The Courteeners. They are brilliant fun live. Yes, they are a little generic and doing nothing that hasn't been done before but they do it well. I'll be at Heaton Park too so not to bothered if they don't make a Glasto appearance.
