1000yardstare
Hi all veteran festival goer in my mid 40s. Bit limited as to which weekend I have available this year. Am available for Latitude but have been twice in past 3 years. Wondered if anyone can recommend Beat herder. Thanks

tillyandthewall
Yep, nice small dance-oriented fest. Wide choice of small stages, and they put great effort into the visuals in the Toil Trees area. Lovely part of the country too, in the hills. hoils
Absolutely can recommend it, yes. Lovely intimate feel, beautiful location, amazing amount of creativity goes into the build the site, loads of small stages going on well into the early hours. But wilder than Latitude, though! doobie ninja
Do this festival normally sell out?
Red-Ninja
Random question but what's the security like for this festival. Any sniffer dogs or the like there?

kerplunk
Just got myself Two tickets. Never been but always heard good reviews. What are peoples recommendations who have been before? Go to festival, pitch tent, have a good time. Sorry can't think of anything specific - it's all good. Well apart from the fortress, but that might be your thing in which case you should defo go there. Stop being difficult! chestwig
Aye the fortress looks rather 'intense' :-) Checked out a few videos online and it seems to remind me of the old South east corner at Glastonbury. Lost vaugness and all that. Onsite Chapel looks fun. Mostly looking forward to having everything within close proximity!! My foot is fucked after Glasto. Some very strange nerve problem
Peaches2
It is a fantastic festival. I am looking for a one way lift share from Newcastle. Willing to share fuel costs and have minimal luggage with me. x

My girlfriend is also driving from Newcastle on Friday and might be able to help. IF you add me on facebook. Name is Chezza Powers I can connect you with my GF and you could arrange to speak with her. Hope that helps?
