Free press

They're using the old printing press again for the festival news paper this year, but just intending to do two editions (Thursday and Sunday).

Kind of a shame I think, I like the novelty of it, but last year they only managed to get one edition out, and couldn't print near enough copies, and it was just one sheet. It's a nice idea, but I'd like to see this done in conjunction with something more like the old Q Daily. I mean, that wasn't brilliant, but it was a few decent writers away from being pretty good.

The thursday edition doesn't make much sense "People arrived, people bimbled" as much as I love Wednessday nights its hardly news and then thursday you have a bit more happening so something to add into it!

A daily edition with modern printing on top of this would be cool :P

Was a real shame that they only managed one edition last time - the Q Daily was generally a bit bobbins but I always enjoyed a read of it

I love this...just the way it is.

It makes sense not being a daily thing; a 1957 printing press trying to churn out a daily paper for 1000s of people doesn't seem practical.

2 editions will be a brilliant FREE keepsake / momento for those that like that kind of thing.

I love the free press and agree with Woffy it should stay the way it is, last year you could place an ad in it. They also did a limited run of posters, which i managed to get a few of they're great
