Its all a matter of personal choice. Whether you choose to be on site or not.

One thing about TF that is a massive pain is the phone charging tent. People missing festival sitting there for hours waiting for a chance to charge phone.

Showers are very busy in morning so choose a different time to shower.

Oh and there's some great views

who's high nosing it? not me or matty - these are all valid reasons - very close to your car, easier to get away on the monday (important is you have to get back for babysitters), quieter, more chance of getting a shower. and without the 2nd one ie gettign away easier, we woudlnt have been anble to go to Glastonbury at all.

toppo - whats this Got car jump starter keeps my stuff charged?

no but I have seen posts year after year from people complaining that the shower queues were too long, the toilets too dirty, the searches too draconian, the walk too long, the hill too steep etc etc from precious people who think just because they have money they are entitled to 5 star treatment

Another myth, in the last 3 years of learving Monday morning, I've not once had trouble leaving the Car Parks.....

Infact last year the car wouldn't start, we had to get an AA man to start it and even that only took about 30 minutes!

Does anyone know when they release more details on the onsite cafe, I wanna know what food and drink they're gonna have! Also what time do most people get there, we aren't getting there till 5-6pm weds night. It's our first time at Glastonbury :-)

People stay at TF, Worthy View etc for all sorts of reasons and don't hurt anyone else by doing so. We're be staying at TF purely because we are going to have to arrive on Thursday night (kids school not happy about time off and I will have started a new contract and need to minimise time off). Also, as I go on my own with my younger kids, the ratio of stuff to people who can carry it isn't in my favour. After spending most of the first and last day lugging a trolley to and from a tent on one side of the festival to a car park on the other, last time we went to Glastonbury, I am keen not to do it again and parking near our tent sounds perfect. A long walk to and from the festival is fine. At least we're going to be there and won't be writing off almost 2 days hauling stuff to and from the car.
