Ticket cancellation question

Hello,

My husband and I were lucky enough to get tickets in the resale and definitely are still going to Glastonbury! However, we also got a ticket for my husband's uncle who was out of the country at the time of the resale and has since decided he can't come after all.

So, we need to cancel 1x ticket and 1x car parking ticket from our see tickets order.

Has anyone done this? I am so completely and utterly paranoid that they're going to cancel the whole order and we'll lose our tickets - someone please tell me they've done this and it was all fine :s

Obviously have to do this before tomorrow night too!

Thanks!

We did it last year .... We rang See Tickets and only canceled the one ticket.... The nice lady also confirmed that all the other tickets were ok.... More than my life's worth if we'd mucked that up!

It's wasn't quick as the first person we spoke to couldn't help but they did call back in about 30 mins when there was someone there to sort it out

Have just rung and spoken to the most bored-sounding disinterested person! So feeling very calm and relaxed about it :s

Sure it'll be fine *fingers crossed* waiting for customer services to ring me...

(And perhaps obsessively checking the See Ticket Tracker to make sure my ticket still exists.... would hate for my evening of playlist creation to have been wasted!)

i've got to cancel one of my party's tickets due to ill health, and just getting a recorded message on the phone to seetickerts about high call traffic and advising me to email, but i'm shitting myself that my ticket will get cancelled as well.

Did it myself earlier today for an eejit (my son) whos decided he's going to Reading with his mates rather than come to Glastonbury with his Dad for some reason.

Ring up the number on the Ticket page and if youre a leetle skeptical that Seetickets might fuck it up - stay on the line as the recorded message tries to persuade you over and over to email them.

Eventually (took about 15 minutes in my case) they answer the phone and were actually fairly efficient. Got an email a few hours later confirming.

They dont seem to have cancelled any of the other tickets on the same order. Which was what I was really worried about.

A girl who was coming with us has just emailed to cancel her ticket. Bricking myself as mine and hers are on the same order number! Also the card I paid with has been cancelled so they'll probably have trouble with the refund. Last year they mixed up all the postcodes, address details and credit card details, 3 of us had to ring up on a conference call everytime we contacted them :sarcastic:

Well, I rang up yesterday to get it sorted. Was told that I'd get a follow up call from See but I haven't.

However, now checking my order status on the see website I have mine and my husband's tickets and car parking tickets, the admin fee added and then the cancelled ticket and car park tickets are there and struck through.

So looks like it should all be ok!

Good luck player - sounds like a tricky one with the refund! Hope it works out ok!
