V.I.P Upgrade letter? Anyone else?

Hi, not posted on these forums for a wee while but needed to try get some info on this. I received a proper headed letter etc from Glastonbury telling me i've been randomly selected and can upgrade to V.I.P with access to extra bars and meet artists playing the festival etc etc.

Totally random, has anyone else received this??? Totally don't have a clue if its legit or what. The letter is all proper and yeah, it has reference numbers etc. Any help appreciated. Ps needless to say i'm gonna email them and try get some word from them but just mainly wondered if other people have got this today???

I'd say it's a clear wind up, to be honest. If it were true, there's absolutely no way they'd tell you that you could meet several headlining acts, plus the offer wouldn't have anything to do with the resale.

The best thing to do is tell all your mates that you scanned and emailed it to the Glasto office who confirmed it wasn't an offer they'd have made, but that as a result of your disappointment and a stand against bullying, they've given you an unlimited backstage pass for the weekend anyway, only this one's just for you - no friends allowed.

people who are on the Hospitality/press list go to a office outside the wall next to hospitality parking so if it was real they would tell you to go there rather than a random information tent.
So is there any numbers that match up ? - like your registration number or your ticket order number ?
if it had that it would be more believable.
[email protected] is a valid address
but anyone could find that out .
just weird that someone you know has gone to the trouble - fingerprint all of them and see if you can get a match

The culprit has finally caved. This can fall to the depths of efests haha.

It wasn't even actually one of my friends going to Glastonbury. Its a mate i know who comes into my work (i work in a high street bookies) Anyway he works on designs on computers etc & thought it would be a fun thing to mock up and i'd be shouting about it in work. Which didn't really work that well for him to be honest as i'm on a holiday and not been there haha. Anyway it just shows how easy some dodgy shit can be knocked up if you know how.
