Where's Peter Dow

In my drunken state I decided to look up Peter Dow's in Linkedin (I'll explain my memership later). I have inadvertently just sent 'a' Peter Dow an invite to talk to me. I wonder what he's going to think of that. There's a part of me that hopes he'll (this probably new Peter Dow) respond. If he does I'm tempted to turn the tables on him and threaten to go to the police if he harasses me anymore. Thoughts on this? Other than that, I can only think of having a nice chat with him, whilst at the same time revealing my congenital idiocy.

On the Linkedin thing - I paid a bit of money to a courier company to transport a table from Nottingham to Birmingham. To cut a long story short the table never arrived. The courier company were saying all the time that they were investigating. I then decided that I'd look up who owned the courier company. Once I established this I set up a Linkedin account, knowing that they'd be the type of w*nker to have one. I was right, he had. I then wrote to him saying that I was offering him a consultancy position (I had to tick one box and that was the best to lure him in). I then only had a few words to use to indicate what the position was about. I wrote 'you have failed'. I knew that a businessman wouldn't want to hear that he had failed, so would click further on. When he clicked further on it would have been to discover that I concluded the 'You have failed' with 'to deliver my parcel'. I then went on to say that me and my mannequin family (for I have such a thing) are very displeased at his service delivery. The next thing I know is that the staff at this courier company were falling all over themselves to placate me. It had worked, there was no way he wanted a potential nut job stalking him. lol

    • Maybe hopeful but get Knocked Loose on the Sunday opposite the legend. Similar to the slot Turnstile had in 2022. Would be absolutely phenomenal.
    • One of my personal favourite bands at the minute - MUNA. Was very surprised not to see them booked in 2023 with their last album but hopefully they'll be around next year. Very fun new album from these guys and, as aforementioned, another standout for me at Big Weekend.
    • Absolutely second this. Were great at Big Weekend and already have a great catalogue of songs forming so far. Would love to see them on the farm!
    • A mixed first day for us. First of all, we were honestly quite shocked that there was no security check at all at the VIP entrance around 7:30 PM. No bag check, nothing. I’ve attended Primavera many times over the years and this felt surprisingly lax for an event of this size. Did anyone else experience the same?   Another disappointment was the communication regarding the weather situation. Primavera has some of the best sound systems and speaker setups in the festival world, yet somehow they were not able to make a single clear announcement explaining what was happening. Instead, people were expected to read tiny messages on screens in Mordor while thousands were left wondering what was going on. A simple and direct audio announcement would have gone a long way.   On a lighter note, this guy absolutely made my day. Sitting right in front of the Estrella Damm terrace, wearing nothing but a long-sleeve shirt, jeans and a pair of Converse All Stars, he remained completely unbothered by the rain. While everyone else was looking for shelter, he sat there wearing sunglasses, calmly watching the crowd as if he was watching a movie.   Absolute main character energy!
    • I think my party got pretty lucky last night, at least compared to some of the horror stories over on Reddit. I was very impressed with Father John Misty in particular.   Perhaps my view would be different if I were a big Massive Attack fan or whatever, but right now my feeling is that if it's not safe for the shows to go ahead... then it's not safe for the shows to go ahead. I'd much rather they were cautious than roll the dice when it comes to something like that.    Here's hoping everyone has a better day today.
