Paul ™
Nice, I believe there is still a couple more TBA though as we worked over there last year (plus Phoenix Park and Punchestown) Edited February 20, 2014 by Paul ™
Paul ™
Weirdly when you search Ticketmaster for Marlay Park, it comes up with 'Kings of Lyon' on the 4th July Link I reckon there will be a gig or 2 that weekend, makes sense to keep the infrastructure in place for the duration. Babyquack
Haha, nice find with the KOL link. I used to live in Dublin but now in England but going back home for Biffy Clyro on the Saturday at Kilmainham and then Arcade Fire on the Sunday! Thinking of going over for EP lineup dependant. Comfy Bean
Heading over for Arcade Fire. Ryanair have changed the flight back into Prestwick on Monday from evening to early morning so prices with Aer Lingus are on the up. Can anyone recommend anywhere near Marlay Park to stay ? Also wondering about a direct bus from the airport or do you need to take a bus into Dublin then change ? Cheers.
Mushy25
There isn't much accommodation near Marlay itself, best bet is staying in town. Think the 16 bus still runs, from airport down to Nutgrove which is then 20-30 minute walk from Marlay, but you can switch in town and get bus closer to Marlay alright. Check out dublinbus.ie for any transport needs, they'll probably have the rip-off shuttle buses going too, so keep an eye on them if you'd like. Kanye West and Pharrell Williams playing there at some point too!

Paul ™
Updated the list again with the Kanye & Pharrell date, I believe that's all that is happening at Marlay Park. 2 more dates added at Royal Hospital Kilmainham though - Tuesday 24th June - Paul Weller & Tom Odell Thursday 26th June - Jack White That finishes off a nice run of t gigs there then over to Marlay for 5 then Longitude Edited April 15, 2014 by Paul ™

Mushy25
Cheers Mushy. Yeah we are struggling to find somewhere that is within walking distance of the park. There are a couple that seem to be on industrial estates as would rather just walk back to the hotel after and catch a bus into Dublin the morning after. Thanks again.
