enjoyed what I saw before I walked over to see PIL.

Caught the late set but it was far too short, crowd just getting into it and it was all over (midnight curfew) would have seen the p.m. set had it not been one horrendous clash (Kenny , Pil, Space Ritual, Congos) went for Kenny Rogers as I wouldn't ever have seen him otherwise.

saw the West Holts set ... the set list was missing some of the songs I was hoping for, and the early songs suffered because those old men couldn't get their voices to tune in .... but by the last few songs they'd got it, and fro that point they were absolutely superb.

The BBC showed a short clip of Fisherman as part of their Kenny Rogers coverage, for all you Congos completists.

They ended their set by reminding the audience not to drink and drive home :-D

I caught the last half of it I think, was just wondering by and thought they looked like fun...It was, enjoyed it alot! Was perfect for a sunny sunday afternoon I thought!

Me and the mrs sat off just behind the mixing desk, and they were superb, perfect

for Sunday afternoon lazing in the sunshine drinking a few Brothers ciders. The band

before were a bit decent too.!!!

I only caught the late set, which, to my immense disappointment, didn't feature Fisherman.

Still, the atmosphere was wonderful. They came onstage just as the red wine "kicked in".

Caught the Gully set, highlight of the weekend for me, loved them, as has been stated though the set was far too short, although the 15min soundcheck probably didn't help.

If I am that athletic when I get to 60/70 odd I'll be a very happy man.

That said, it meant we got out of Dante's 15th level of hell (the dance area after midnight on Sunday) pretty sharpish, too many people hocked up on licking cane toads or smoking elephant tranquiliser.
