Oh Hello my little cult fiends! Sorry I have been away but had work to do and dogs to walk.

Been on the hunt all day for an impossible hotel hunt, a tweed cap and a pipe.

I many have managed to locate all three at favourable costs.

So what the haps?

Probably still catching up on sleep from Saturday morning.

or busy sorting t-shirt colours and sizes etc so we can all start to order :-)

Why am I so excited by getting an NFR NFC t-shirt? I am 49 in less than 2 weeks time!!!

Why yes you may. Apparently I may have a guest pass to Parklife in Manchester but all hotels been booked up forever so nigh on impossible to find a deal, unless of course you are me and can think outside the box. Have located a hotel 5 min drive from Heaton Park for a cheap as chips price. Even got a wee discount due to the Irish brogue and the fact the receptionist runs the Irish centre. Lovely lady. Will be buying her a wee drinkie.

Secondly, I am looking to purchase said Tweed hat and pipe to attend the Chap Hop on the Thursday night at Glasto. An opportunity to dress up and look ridiculous yet awesome at the same time is impossible to miss.

A good day in all! Summer is panning out rather nicely peeps! All hail the weather gods! NFR NFC!!!

We had a bloke at work who dresses like Mr. B.

He would walk past and doff his hat with a "Good afternoon ladies"

Mrs Woffy loved him.

Until he got sacked for getting arrested for duffing up his wife.

At least he stayed in victorian character.

Is everyone still up for drinkies and then - for those who fancy - meandering over to the Pyramid for TWOD on Friday?

Woffy, I'm up for the drinkies but not entirely sure I'll be checking out War on Drugs, trying to recall what they sound like but sure I've heard them on t'radio and not giving me goosebumpies.

Awesomeness, deebee.

That's ok, HMV...each to their own and there's too much at Glasto to watch summat you don't esp. like!!!

I will be findable-ish if anyone fancies saying hi by looking for the occasionally hoisted Berkshire flag!

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
