That there rain and wind managed to find a couple of holes in our residence today. Towels at the windows. Can do with a bit less of that. Plus I've lost me shed roof....

How's everyone this morning? Waters gone down yet? Hope it's better now. We're off to York today where my folks live, near the river, so I'll see how high it is and if they're having Christmas dinner on the first floor tomorrow.

We're drying the towels in preparation for the next kick off on Friday. And I discovered yesterday that I've got Iritis, the ensuing eye drops are making the sunshine pretty unpleasant. Which is good.....

Hello all! Apologies for my absence. Been a tad blowy down here, my folks had their shed roof half off and a couple of fence panels down, I've offered my help so I may well be doing that tomorrow!

well im off to my sons NYE [ on the bus party ] which in 2 barns but im hoping this weather runs through quickly cos hes put lots of work in to this and i really dont want it ruined cos of the wet stuff ......BUT if it stays like this itll be THE BIGGEST SACRIFICE that i should have to make this/next year lol..

im not religious but for flip sake give us a break if you are there old son
