The Food Court...

What were peoples opinion or thoughts regarding the food court? Do you think it worked?

It was a great idea, but some of the food there was dreadful. I've never had such an awful curry at Glasto as I got from there.

Had a really nice raclette with sausage from there. And a pizza from the bake off place which was really good.

I had a curry from there. It was raining and cold on the Thursday late afternoon and we were just wandering looking at the offerings when this man can up to us with a plate of try out sauces, we tried the Balti one which was really quite tasty. He suckered us in, a good sailes pitch really. But after getting the jalresi in the end it was a tad dissapointing with the plain boiled rice and a nan bread that was cardboard.

On the Sunday i had a half a chicken with spuds from the Rottiserie in the food court which was sublime.

There was a pizza place right in the corner to the right side of William's Green tent (as you looked at it) that did the most amazing "Turkish Pizza" which was a flatbread with lamb in a delicious spicy sauce with onions, rocket, basil and mint yoghurt - absolutely brilliant. It was the only thing I ate from the area so it worked for me but I actually thought they could have made more of it and should have listened more to people's opinions on what was good to eat before assembling it.

Incidentally, the "Scooby Snack" burger from near the entrance to Silver Hayes was incredible and should be in the food court next time, if quality is important.
