Main Stage Sound Issues

Did anyone else feel that the sound this year coming from the main stage was poor, distorted and broken up? Apart from Ramnstein who cranked the volume up, many of my group felt disappointed by the sound quality on the main stage. Some used the wind as an excuse but Sunday wasn't even windy! Let me know your thoughts.

Yep, second was too quiet as well.

Second was far too quiet couldn't hear limp bizkit. Main was also quiet for maiden. Was at the front for rammstein so don't know as it was sure loud enough there!

2nd was fine for all the bands I saw there. Main was sketchy further out but despite what was said earlier there was a fairly stiff wind all weekend and that was definitely a factor.

Jimmy Eat World was a bit shaky but it was quite windy for that, heard people complaining about Maiden sound issues but from where I was it sounded fine

Sorry but I've been Download before on windy days and it's never been that quiet. It wasn't windy on Sunday and there were still issues.

normally i come back and you fucking know youve been to a festival. but what was goingon. during the rain when i was watching escape the fate on the second stage it went all crackly too. the sound was none too goof this year

Didn't really notice it that much,could maybe have been a bit louder for Maiden as i chose to stay quite a long way back.

Also felt the sound could have been better - was brilliant for Rammstein though!

The second stage sound was ropey for Airbourne.

All the crowd to the right if the main stage were shouting 'turn it up'.

Main stage sounds was fine, though that zipwire needed to go, sometimes i could fucking here it during rammstien and we weren't even that close.

2nd stage the sound was SHIT! Really bad.

Pepsi max stage the sound needs to be turned down, you can here it thumping in the background from the top of the hill, whoever was doing the sound this year was a fucking retard, all the bands had far too much bass in there sound, was really hurting my ears and most others around me.

Main stage had a lot of sound issues over the weekend. Iron Maiden sounded awful for the first half of the performance. They can't blame the wind soley either, as I've been when the weather has been much worse & the sound wasn't effected that bad.

I was only in 3rd for Red Fang and it was INSANE! I loved the sound.
