Calexico excitement thread

Any other Calexico fans in here? I've been looking to see these guy for quite some time and it'll be great to see them on the Park stage.

Terrible clash with Primal Scream though.

Indeed, however, I saw Primal in 2011 so happy to see something. Also hear Primal Scream might be focusing mainly on post screamadelica tunes, which I don't particularly like anyway.

I love Calexico. But can't justify seeing them over Primal Scream. Waited too long to see the Scream.

saw them on the lineup and gave them a listen for the first time. loved them, downloaded all their albums as i thought they'd be lower on the Park and i'd get to see them. was pretty pissed when i saw them now clash with Primal Scream. oh well

I used to like Calexico, went through a big phase 10+ years ago (Hot Rail kind of era). Not sure if I'm that bothered about them now, though. Sort of lost touch with them

Would go to see them in a heartbeat if they were supporting Patti Smith though. The biggest revelation of the last few years for me is how fucking astonishing she is.

that's definitely their best album imo. they haven't released anything bad since, but nothing has compared to that one
