Would it be possible for someone to confirm how much space is there on the accessible/disabled camp site?

Looks like the three of us will only be able to arrive on Thursday evening so I'm a little worried about space? Also does anyone know what time the accessible box office opening hours are?

Thanks in advance!

My husband had a very serious accident 8 weeks ago which resulted in him loosing his right leg and badly damaging his left leg, he's currently wheelchair bound but by the festival he hopes to be a bit more mobile but obviously will still need a wheelchair and assistance. I have the forms to apply to camp in the disabled camping field but have a few questions if anyone can help answer them it would be appreciated please.

We have a camper van, I don't drive and my husband won't be able to drive either by the festival date. I was going to use the helpers ticket to give to a friend (whose is a nurse) to drive us there and help us set up etc?? Do they have to have a ticket already??

The camping ground, we usually camp in a big group but appreciate we can't this year but wondered how strict they are allowing others to camp with you (just in case we need help as I I have bad back also so might need more assistance from strong male friends also)

Also does anyone have a telephone number for the festival office to discuss issues and emailing questions is not always easy and speaking to someone might be easier.

Thanks all, it's going to be a totally different festival for us this year but it's my husbands goal to get there and have a bloody good time

Just a quick question......as a PA on the 2-4-1 scheme, will i get a ticket?

I'm just worried about gaining access in and out of the festival back to my car as i know you require a wristband and a ticket and this year i do not have a ticket due to assisting as a PA.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
