Final announcement

Excellent! What a surprisingly great announcement! I always assume I won't know any of the application bands but looking forward to TIgercats and Evans the Death. Wouldn't be surprised if one or more play the Thursday, it's often been the day for indie pop, with Hayman and Allo Darlin one year and Big Wave last year.

Our full line up announcement today: The Walkmen / William Tyler / Crocodiles / The Graphite Set / Landshapes / Duologue / Filthy Boy / Anna Von Hausswolff / El Perro Del Mar / Daniel Norgren / Frontier Ruckus / Broken Twin / Black Yaya / Braids / Jessica Pratt / Trembling Bells & Mike Heron

Not many names I recognise there (as I suspected), but I do like Braids and I'm fairly sure I've come across and enjoyed Crocodiles but it's been a couple of years.

Amazing line-up this year. Really, REALLY strong.

Another couple of solid names: Braids, Crocodiles and Trembling Bells all worth a look. Also, I just read that Black YaYa is David Herman Dune! A few others sound quite interesting so looking forward to a bit of investigation.

Quite a few of the bands have which day they're playing on their websites now, for example:

Friday: David Byrne & St Vincent, Eels, Efterklang, Angel Olsen, Parquet Courts and Matthew E White.

Saturday: SIgur Ros, Polica, Savages, Leisure Society, PINS, Daughter and RM Hubbert.

Sunday: B&S, Frightened Rabbit, Jens Lekmann, Damien Jurado, Julianna Barwick and The Staves

(was only looking for bands I was interested in so may be more up on their sites).

If you like some serious guitar noodling, then I can whole-heartedly recommend William Tyler, I'm very happy about him being added to the bill. His new albyum is just wonderful, and I saw him recently in a club and was blown away. Perfectedly suited for the Tipi I think.
